Today we’d like to introduce you to Tifani Stephenson.
Hi Tifani, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started in the tanning industry back in December of 2017, working at another salon. Over the years, I really dove into learning everything that I could – from the different products and equipment to the science behind how it all works together. After a while, I realized I had grown as much as I could there and was ready for something new and challenging and the goal was to always open my own salon. That’s when I decided to take a leap of faith and open golden glo sun spa.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I think I-ending any business comes with its fair share of challenges – that’s just art of chasing something that you’re passionate about. For me, the biggest struggle was learning how to take everything on myself. Before, when I worked for someone else, there was always a safety net – someone above me to handle the tough calls or take responsibility when things got hard, But once I opened my own salon, I realized that every decision, every success, and even every mistake fell on me. It was a huge learning curve, but also one of the most rewarding parts of the journey.

I’m the owner of golden glo sun spa, a luxury tanning salon designed to help people look and feel their best. I love creating an environment where clients can unwind, feel confident, and enjoy a little self-care. We specialize in a range of tanning and wellness services – from premium UV tanning and custom spray tans to red light therapy. My focus is on helping clients find the right options for their skin type and lifestyle so they leave feeling refreshed and confident. golden glo sun spa is known for its fun, modern atmosphere and exceptional customer experience. We take pride in the details – from the cleanliness of the salon to the care we give each client. People come to us not just for great results, but because they know they’ll always feel welcomed and taken care of. I truly love seeing how a small act of self-care can completely transform someone’s day. Watching clients walk out smiling and feeling more confident is easily the best part of what I do.

What matters most to me is creating an experience where people feel seen, valued, and cared for. Whether it’s through the services we offer or the atmosphere we’ve built, I want every client to feel like they’re part of something special the moment they walk in. Building genuine connections and making people feel good about themselves is what drives me every day – that’s the heart behind everything that I do.
