We’re looking forward to introducing you to Lenworth Johnson. Check out our conversation below.
Lenworth, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day start with gratitude.
I take a moment to thank God for everything He’s allowed me to do every opportunity, every challenge, every blessing that’s shaped me.
Then I feed my mind.
I listen to an inspiring word from a business coach something that refocuses my energy and reminds me that mindset is everything.
After that comes one of my favorite moments…
I stand by and watch my son drive off to school.
It’s a simple thing, but it fills me with pride seeing him grow, learn, and walk his own path.
No rush. No chaos.
Just faith, focus, and family the foundation that fuels everything I do.
Because when you start your morning grounded and grateful,
everything else just flows.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Lenworth Johnson, a Beauty and Fashion Photographer who helps clients and brands solve one major problem — how to be seen with confidence and purpose.
My work blends art direction, style, and storytelling to create images that don’t just look stunning — they elevate perception and attract the right opportunities.
I’ve collaborated with iconic fashion brands, but what truly defines my brand is the transformation and clients experience. Every session is designed to reveal their best, most authentic selves — and turn that energy into results.
Because great photography isn’t just about taking pictures —
it’s about positioning people for impact.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
My earliest memory of feeling powerful was the first time I picked up a camera and realized I could shape how people see themselves.
I remember photographing someone who wasn’t feeling confident — but when they saw the final image, their entire energy shifted.
That moment hit me hard.
I thought, “Wow… this isn’t just photography. This is transformation.”
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I’d tell my younger self, “Trust your vision even when no one else sees it.”
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
For the most part, yes — the public version of me is the real me.
What people see is the same person who loves creativity, connection, and helping others look and feel their best. The only difference is that the public version is a little more polished more intentional.
Behind the camera, I’m still that same guy who gives thanks to God, laughs on set, and wants every person in front of my lens to feel seen and valued.
So yes — it’s me.
Just the focused, purpose-driven version of me that shows up to inspire others to do the same.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What will you regret not doing?
I never want to leave this world with my knowledge still in my head.
If my journey can help someone find their purpose, build their confidence, or change their life… then it was all worth it.
