Story & Lesson Highlights with Siree Jones

We recently had the chance to connect with Siree Jones and have shared our conversation below.

Siree, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Lately, I have been finding so much joy in volunteering and offering support in the community. I experience true joy when I am active in my church home throughout the week.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Siree! A purpose‑driven commercial real estate agent based in Houston, Texas. I specialize in Retail Advisory Services. I am passionate about aligning professional success with personal fulfillment. I have deep expertise in retail real estate across Houston’s growing market. For 3 years I have been strategically offering guidance to property owners, tenants, and investors seeking to optimize opportunities in lease negotiations, acquisitions, and market positioning.
Beyond real estate, I am committed to advancing financial literacy in my community. It’s the integration of real estate and life insurance solutions, that positions my clients not just to secure property value, but also to build long‑term financial wealth and wellness.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
I saw myself early on in high school as a entrepreneur. I’ve always been fascinated by how business and money works. How to not just make money but accumulate wealth. I had mentors and business owners that would share their journey and pour knowledge into me. I was able to see beyond just working a job; but to build a business around myself that will be successful.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
“There is nothing you cannot do! Invest in yourself early and learn as much as you can.”

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
“Location, location, location—nothing else matters.” This long standing mantra overlooks factors like tenant relationships, adaptability, management quality and or building conditions— elements, that can be vital, if not more so, than geography alone.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What will you regret not doing?
I will for sure regret not investing in real estate; either it be residential or commercial. Also, investing in cash accumulating products that has minimal risk with long term gain, like life insurance.
