Thanks for sharing your story with us Jamie. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I open up my own matchmaking firm after working for some big-name matchmakers that really did not have the human touch. I designed my company based upon with the client wants and what they expect. When working with a matchmaker I think they need to be in tune to the client. Understand what their criteria is, make sure their client is realistic. Guide them along as they meet new people and help them to understand what a good healthy relationship is. I think I got here today with my business by respecting my clients and working to the best of my abilities and just being as helpful as possible.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
With any business there are hurtles you have to overcome but I’ve been very fortunate with mine. My clients are really great and I get to be very selective and picky about who I work with. My clients become my friends and it’s actually a very fun and rewarding career.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Rose Matchmaking story. Tell us more about the business.
I own a boutique style matchmaking firm that caters to real people who are looking for true love who have a lot to offer and a lot to give in a relationship. I’m known for representing clients that are really great people. I’m proud of all of the wonderful people that have fulfilled their relationship goals by working with us. What sets us apart is how much effort we put into working with our clients, we truly do want them to meet the right match. It’s hard to find a real matchmaker nowadays and no service compares to the service that we offer.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Being Cherokee Indian I do believe that every person and everything in this universe has a purpose. Clients come to me when they feel it’s the right time in their lives to do this and I believe its fate that brings their match to me as well. In a way I just feel like a mediator for love.
