Today, we’d like to introduce you to Laura Almazan. Laura was introduced to us by one of the most helpful folks we know, Ashley Jove.
Laura , thank you so much for joining us today. We’d love for you to bring our readers up to speed – can you introduce yourself and share your story?
After many months of quarantine, I needed a fun activity to ease myself into getting back in shape. I wanted a place that offered Zumba classes with a Latin flair that many gyms do not offer. When I found Algoo Buenoo, I found much more than just a fun Zumba class; I found a nutrition club. Algoo buenoo stole my heart with their delicious protein donuts, satisfying my sweet tooth and making me feel good about choosing a healthier alternative. At algoo buenoo, I found a place where I can work/study (besides Starbucks), drink/eat something that is actually good for my body. Ashley, the owner of Algoo Buenoo, is very knowledgeable and loves to share her knowledge with her customers. She has provided me great guidance and motivation on my fitness journey.
Let’s talk about your work and career – what else should we know?
I am a flight attendant for a major Airline, and my job takes me to different places around the world. I love to meet and connect with people and their cultures. What I love about my job the most is that it allows me to experience many other cultures, customs, and ways of life. I enjoyed eating what the locals eat and getting to explore their local farmers’ markets and shops. Experiencing different cultures has broadened the way I think and feel about the diverse world we live in and has given me greater respect and appreciation for other people’s way of life.
Ashley Jove and Algoo Buenoo have been great to us and I know you’ve got a great relationship with them as well. Is there anything else you’d like to share about your experience with them?
I discovered Algoo Buenoo about two months ago and can not say enough about this place. I admire Ashley for being a young entrepreneur, but also I admire the person she is and her work ethic. Ashley is welcoming and wants you to feel you have a place where you feel you belong. She is very friendly and very knowledgeable about fitness, nutrition, and entrepreneurship and is always willing to share her knowledge. Algoo Buenoo is a place where you can work/study or a place where you can hang out with your friends.
There’s always a reason for me to visit Algoo Buenoo; I either go to Zumba classes, drop by to get a protein shake or energy tea or make a quick run to get a fix of their protein donuts.
