Meet Maryam Naderi of Paloma in Galleria Area

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maryam Naderi.

Paloma is a beauty destination founded on the belief that beauty and wellness can coexist. Our vision is simple: to set a higher standard. We promise to consistently deliver a superior nail salon experience using only the highest-quality non-toxic nail polish on the market in a clean and inviting space. We believe that beauty should do no harm.

Maryam Naderi’s vision for a clean, comfortable, modern nail space free of toxic chemicals stems from her personal ethos that a manicure or pedicure shouldn’t bring harm to your health and wellness—or anyone else’s.

To this end, she created Paloma; the very definition of aesthetics, purity, and escape. A nail space unlike any other—where guests, technicians, and the environment are all equally respected—and her business model is as much about building something meaningful as it is about creating something beautiful.

During her travels around the globe, Maryam took note of the many beauty and wellness services she experienced so she could bring the best of the best right back here to Houston. As a businesswoman who believes in leading by example, she designed Paloma’s atmosphere and experience around the kind of inviting space in which she would also want to spend time—with a refined elegance, understated luxury, a sense of ease, and an abundance of laughter. The result? A true escape to beautiful.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The hardest part is the personal side – this is applicable to any service intense business.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Paloma – what should we know?
We are most proud that we have a nontoxic environment for our technicians (who spend a lot of time in Paloma) and our clients. That is what sets us apart in the market, we are by far the cleanest and safest nail salon in Houston.

At Paloma, well-considered amenities such as seamless online & mobile booking, touchpad checkout, valet services, and phone charging stations are standard.

Book, confirm, or change an appointment with your preferred nail technician on your mobile device at any hour of the day. Enjoy luxuries such as a rich espresso or refreshing beverage in our sophisticated and inviting nail shop.

We’ve taken the guesswork out of choosing a technician. At Paloma, you’ll receive the same level of impeccable service from any one of our highly trained professionals. Using our standard 18-step method, Paloma’s nail technicians deliver a flawless manicure or pedicure—every single time.

Our selection of non-toxic, long-wearing, “5-free” nail polishes was thoughtfully chosen just for you. We offer a wide range of current and classic colors from the safest brands—with options to complement every skin tone.

We’re able to achieve a flawless finish, without ever exposing you, our technicians, or the environment to harmful chemicals like dibutyl phthalate (DBP), toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, or camphor, which are commonly used in traditional nail salons. Our polish remover is gentle to ensure your skin doesn’t dry out, and our scrubs, creams, and lotions are free of sulfates and parabens.

We believe that wellness should not be compromised for beauty.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Our level of service has to be high and consistently exceptional.
