What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?

We’ve been working on our publication and platform for almost a decade because we deeply believe that the world will be a far more empathetic and collaborative place if we all had the ability to know each other’s stories. I have had countless conversations with others about their opinions on voting, and their thoughts around the lack of results that come from civic engagement. I have worked every single election cycle since 2018, and in that time, I have seen more losses than wins, however, I’ve seen movement. Read more>>

I’m committed to not taking things personally. As I continue to grow and have my own human experience, I have more compassion for others. I understand how nuanced this life is, and we are all different. I know most things aren’t personal, and I’m committed to not internalizing what happens around me. Read more>>
