Society has its myths about where we learn – internships, books, school, etc. However, in our conversations with some of the most interesting and trailblazing entrepreneurs and creatives we noticed the biggest lessons they learned about work often came from unexpected sources. The White Cane Safety Day is an annual celebration typically held in mid-October to recognize the achievements of people who are blind or have low vision. This recognition also helps raise awareness about the white cane as a tool of independence.
