Right after the audition and long drive, Eman reported to an acting class “not her current acting coach”, someone already told the acting coach about what happened as they were at the same audition. The acting coach told Eman “You should keep your hair cover, they will know you are from the middle east and not mistaken you for a Hispanic” Eman responded “I don’t want to cover my hair; I will act for a living. I’m from Houston, Houston is where I grew up” coach responded in a form of joking “don’t tell your religious leaders. Don’t get me in trouble”

Eman wrote a short story “Lives In Me” and struggled a lot because no one was interested in being part of the film cast or crew. As she researched filmmaking strategies, she was able to register for an Echo Film School workshop with Barry Atkins who is also an instructor at the Art Institute, Houston. Working closely with Eman watching her passion and will, Barry accepted to be Eman’s AD and cinematographer and worked out a very flexible payment plan.

Many actors turned down the roles after accepting including 3 different actors just for the role of Sam two days before the shoot.
