Adrianna Kenebrew’s Stories, Lessons & Insights

We recently had the chance to connect with Adrianna Kenebrew and have shared our conversation below.

Good morning Adrianna, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Something bringing me joy outside of work is reserving time to read. Reading has been such a fun hobby for me to just wind down and escape into a good book! I also thinks it fosters creativity which helps me in my work as a photographer.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I am Adrianna Kenebrew owner of Adrianna Deeann photography! I recently graduated from UH with a BBA in marketing. I’ve been a photographer for the past 5 years but recently have began devoting myself full time to my craft. I specialize in portraits, couples, families, and graduating seniors. I started photography because I loved capturing special and important moments that people can cherish for a lifetime.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who taught you the most about work?
Both of my parents taught me so much about hard work and striving to love what you do!

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
In the beginning of my photography journey I actually was striving to be a competitive gymnast, but I had to have an emergency eye surgery and had to give it up. That experience taught me that although you may have a plan, God may have an equally as rewarding or even better plan.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that what really matters to me is God’s plan and sharing His love with others!

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I definitely believe I am doing what God has created me to do. Ever since I picked up a camera I felt called to help capture special moments!
