An Inspired Chat with Brittany LaRotta

We recently had the chance to connect with Brittany LaRotta and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittany, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
Getting my FOUR DAUGHTERS up and ready for school! Buttttt before that, I like to wake up before them, sit, meditate and drink a big cup of coffee in a bright pink bug (the pink is essential. Don’t skip it) ha!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’ve always loved social media and everything about it, and after life took some violent turns, I found myself wondering… “what am I good at?” What started with picking up a camera and learning how to edit, turned into learning all about the world of marketing and media– and finding out I’m pretty good at it. From small, to large businesses– I’ve helped build brands, create ads to reach locals, and polish up brand awareness and social media presences for all to see.

We specialize in :

PHOTO | VIDEO | AV | WEBSITES | SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT | ADS | & more

Let’s connect! Latina owned. Female led.

I have 4 daughters, born and raised in HTX, and come from a family of videographers and photographers. It’s in my blood, along with Colombian coffee and Starbucks.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
In corporate— barely seeing my babies, and working towards someone else’s dreams.

I couldn’t, I wouldn’t. And I scraped my way to where I am and headed and don’t regret it! I love creating art and something beautiful for others..

And I especially love my variety of clients, projects, while having time for my littles, family, and friends.

What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
Divorce in 2020 left me with no home, no money, and just the stuff I could carry out of my home.

The years haven’t been easy, but the struggle and closed doors brought me here to beautiful circles and new opportunities!

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
Only men can be in the videography and AV fields.
No. I’ll do it well & I do it in heels. 👠
Don’t play with me!

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What will you regret not doing?
Not starting and believing in myself earlier— so I will go extra hard now!
