We’re looking forward to introducing you to Tosin Tee. Check out our conversation below.
Tosin, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Outside of work, what’s been bringing me joy lately is working out and playing volleyball. I’ve recently become really focused on my health and wellness again, and it’s been both challenging and fun. There’s something about being physically competitive, pushing myself, and seeing my progress that has been so rewarding. It’s not just about fitness, it’s also been a great outlet for stress and a way to reconnect with myself outside of business and content creation.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Tosin Tee, and I’m an influencer as well as the founder of Juveli Jewelry. Juveli was born out of my love for entrepreneurship, storytelling, and the desire to create something meaningful. The heart of Juveli is the belief that you are already a masterpiece, perfectly made and fully equipped with everything you need to succeed. Our jewelry is meant to be a reflection of that truth, serving as a daily reminder of your worth and confidence.
What makes Juveli special is the way it blends faith, culture, and modern style. Every piece is meticulously
chosen and designed to feel both timeless and empowering. I wanted to create something that’s accessible to young women who love expressing themselves through fashion but also want pieces that carry a message deeper than trends. Right now, we’re focused on building community through our collections, pop-up events, and collaborations. My dream is to see Juveli on women all around the world, whether they’re dressing up for a special moment or just elevating their everyday look.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
Growing up, I was bullied a lot for my looks, my height, how skinny I was & at a young age, it really made me question myself. I don’t think I ever truly believed I was ugly, but there were moments where I felt confused, wondering what other people were seeing in me that I couldn’t see in the mirror. When I looked at myself, I didn’t feel unattractive, yet the words of others made me question if something was wrong with me or if I wasn’t “well made.”
Over time, I’ve unlearned that belief. I now know that I was never the problem, God made me intentionally, and I’m a masterpiece just the way I am. That shift in perspective has been so freeing and has also shaped the way I approach my brand. Juveli is rooted in that message: you are already enough, already beautifully and purposefully made.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering has taught me lessons that success alone never could. I believe suffering is what builds endurance. Success feels good, but it doesn’t stretch you the same way hardship does. Learning to suffer well, to walk through difficult seasons without giving up, has taught me resilience, patience, and grit.
It’s in those hard moments that you develop the ability to keep going even when the road ahead feels uncertain. That kind of strength doesn’t come from wins or accolades.. it comes from challenges, disappointments, and setbacks. And in many ways, I’ve come to see suffering as a refining process. It prepares you for the weight of success by making sure you have the endurance and character to carry it well.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
I believe my closest friends would say that what matters most to me is God and love. While those may not always be the first things people see on my platforms, the people who are really close to me know how deeply important they are in my life. My faith grounds me, and love, in all its forms, whether it’s family, friendship, or community… is what fuels me. Those are the values that shape the way I show up in my personal life and in my work, even if they’re not always spoken about openly.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What will you regret not doing?
I think what I would regret most is not giving it my all. A lot of times, we don’t stop to think about the end of life or how things will look years from now, but when you listen to older people reflect, they often say they wish they had gone after what they truly wanted and given it everything. I don’t want to carry that kind of regret. For me, it’s important to live fully, to take risks, and to pursue my dreams with everything I have..because at the end of the day, I’d rather say I tried and gave it my all than wonder “what if.”
