Antoinette Cage of Houston on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Antoinette Cage. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Antoinette , thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day are dedicated to productivity and alignment. After preparing myself for the day, I focus on posting to social media, practicing my daily affirmations, and sharing motivational and encouraging messages with my team. I then follow up with clients through emails, complete any necessary check-ins, and finish with a touch base session with my mentor.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Antoinette Cage, founder of Legacy Queen. I help individuals and entrepreneurs repair and build credit, set up LLCs, access business funding, and create multiple income streams. My journey actually started as a travel agent over three years ago, which taught me the value of financial freedom and experiences. Now I combine money, business, and lifestyle to help people secure their legacies and enjoy the life they deserve.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My friend Krystal. We’ve been friends for about 4 or 5 years now (we honestly lost track). When I first stepped into entrepreneurship, I was moving on faith and figuring things out through trial and error. I had supported other business owners before starting my own, so I had a little knowledge, but not much guidance. Krystal saw something in me early on and stayed on me—pushing me to try new approaches and constantly challenging me to grow. She believed in me before I fully believed in myself.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, I’ve had moments where I wanted to give up—life, business, and relationships all tested me. What’s kept me going is keeping God first and having the right people in my corner. My mentor Matrice has been a true blessing—she pushes me, encourages me, and has become like a big sister. And I also have a close friend, not even a business owner, who still keeps me on my toes and he reminds me to keep pushing forward. I thank God often for placing both of them in my life.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would definitely say that helping people truly matters to me. They’ll tell you I can be on vacation and still focused on making sure others are good. Sometimes that even works against me, because I’ll want success for people more than they want it for themselves, or I’ll see their potential before they believe in it. But at the end of the day, serving and uplifting others is just who I am.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
If I retired tomorrow, I think my customers would miss my genuine care and consistency the most. I don’t just provide a service; I build real relationships. They know I’ll follow up, encourage them when they’re discouraged, and hold them accountable to reach their goals. My clients would miss the fact that I’m not just in it for business—I’m invested in their growth, their wins, and their future
