Myra Nicole, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
My cousin bravely told my Aunt and Uncle he was no longer interested in exploring the medical field. To their disbelief, he was quitting school and diving full-time in the career of comedy. He had recently purchased a Canon Rebel and asked me to take pictures and record his shows. With a heart to help, I bravely took on the task as photographer, videographer, and manager with no formal training or insight. I had no idea what I was doing and kept the camera in auto mode for a year. Through the support of my cousin, I fell in love with the art of storytelling through visual art. From then on it was on. I was reading books, watching videos from YouTube and daily perfecting my craft.
We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
Myra Nicole Photography is a dynamic, mobile photography company tailored to highlight the uniqueness of every client through visual art. We specialize in portraits and wedding photography.
We have been in production for six years, and our clients are the core of how we shape and operate our business. Growing up in a large family with five siblings, we were was always intentional in the way we service our clients. We vowed to treat every client as our family with love, attention, trust, and respect. We know the photography sector is large, but we stand out in customer service and quality images. From the initial point of contact to the delivery of photos, we ensure customer satisfaction in every way because we value their business and their loyalty. More than 90% of our customers come through direct referrals because of it, and we have a perfect score in customer satisfaction.
Our inspiration behind our business is we love telling stories, and we do so through photography. Every picture tells the story and personality of our clients. We hope people will select us as their first choice for photography in Texas and around the world.

Houston is one of the largest, diverse cities in the world. It’s an absolute privilege to serve our Houston clients, surrounding cities and internationally. We believe we lucked out in starting our business in the beautiful city of Houston, Texas.
Photography is such an evolving sector that you can start it in any city. We would advise anyone starting out to research the market in their area, seek out business partnerships, tailor your business based on your specialty, and find a niche if possible.
Many people believe you need to travel to Paris, New York, or California to make it as a successful photographer but this is far from true. If you have a dream, a plan, and daily actions dedicated to achieving your dreams, your possibilities are endless.
