Jazia, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Jazia Landry is a Houston-based creative, dancer, and founder of the all-female trail ride group EXOTICRIDERS. Her journey into the country dance scene began in 2020, when she started sharing her passion for line dancing on TikTok. What began as a fun pastime quickly transformed into a growing platform after her viral choreography to “How Can You Love Me” by the Jay Morris Group captured the attention of audiences nationwide.
As her following expanded, Jazia became a familiar face not only online but throughout her community recognized at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and especially at trail rides, where her vibrant energy and genuine love for country culture stood out.
In 2021, driven by her passion for community and southern heritage, Jazia founded EXOTICRIDERS, an all-women trail ride group that celebrates sisterhood, empowerment, and the country lifestyle. The group’s foundation was deeply inspired by Jazia’s childhood memories of growing up on a farm, where her connection to horses and rural life first began.
By 2023, Jazia began a new and transformative chapter in her life starting her personal walk with God. Her faith has since become the foundation of everything she does, guiding her purpose, deepening her gratitude, and inspiring her to lead with integrity and grace both on and off the dance floor.
Now, four years later, EXOTICRIDERS continues to thrive under her leadership. Jazia has also expanded her influence by hosting line dance classes across Houston, teaching people of all backgrounds to embrace movement, confidence, and connection through dance.
What started as a simple love for music and movement has grown into a platform that bridges faith, culture, and community a reflection of Jazia’s dedication to preserving her country roots while walking boldly in her purpose.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Being a content creator has been one of the most rewarding yet challenging journeys of my life. Over the years, I’ve faced moments that truly tested my patience, consistency, and passion especially when TikTok deleted six of my pages, forcing me to start over again and again. Each time, it felt like I was rebuilding not just my platform, but a piece of myself.
While trying to stay motivated and grow, I also found myself on a deeper personal journey trying to understand who I was outside of the spotlight. By 2023, I reached a point where I had lost the love for creating. I felt disconnected from the very thing that once brought me joy.
But in 2024, I made the decision to start again this time with a clearer purpose and a stronger sense of self. I realized that my story wasn’t over; it was just being rewritten. Every setback became a setup for something greater.
Now, I create not just for views or trends, but from a place of faith, growth, and authenticity. My journey reminds me daily that even when things fall apart, you can always rebuild and come back stronger than ever.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m best known for my line dancing content on TikTok, but what I’m most proud of are the places this journey has taken me and the incredible people I’ve met along the way. What truly sets me apart is my genuine love and passion for the craft every step, every dance, and every connection comes from the heart.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up my life wasn’t always the best but it was worth it, my life made me appreciate life more and the things around me ! My personality has always been a 10/10 simply because I know how to be myself in any room I step in
