Born in Lafayette, Louisiana and raised in Houston, Texas, Latachie (LA), also known as Sky, is a bold voice in fashion, a natural leader, and a woman on a mission. She’s the heart behind Sky Modeling School, where she helps aspiring models—kids and adults—gain confidence, learn the ropes, and walk the runway with purpose.
Sky is also a fashion show producer, best known for creating signature events like Elegance on the Runway and the Elegant Kids Fashion Show. These shows celebrate talent, community, and creativity—bringing fashion and empowerment together on one inspiring stage.
Her journey began with THE BEAT Fashion Show, honoring cancer survivors. After training with John Casablancas Modeling Center, she took her career into her own hands—earning magazine covers, awards, and even a billboard in Memorial City Mall.
But Sky’s story isn’t just about fashion—it’s about faith, family, and using her platform to uplift others. She runs her own boutique, Vintage Hats & Bows, and a healthcare company with her mother: Cole’s Concierge Services.
In summer 2025, I took a major leap of faith and launched my talk show, The Latachie Ann Show: The Runway Diaries. The live taping was nothing short of inspirational — the turnout was incredible, filled with love, support, and anticipation. It was a dream come true to see a room full of people from all walks of life come together to celebrate purpose, passion, and perseverance. The energy was electric, and many guests shared how moved they were by the stories, the authenticity, and the empowering atmosphere. It confirmed everything I already knew — this show is bigger than me. It’s a platform meant to uplift, encourage, and remind people that their voice and story matter.
From the runway to the airwaves, I remain committed to inspiring others through fashion, faith, and purpose, always remembering that with God, nothing shall be impossible.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road — but every bump along the way has shaped me into the woman I am today.
There were moments of self-doubt, especially early in my career when I was trying to find my voice in the modeling industry. As a woman of faith entering the fashion world, I often felt like I had to fight twice as hard to stay true to myself while navigating spaces that didn’t always reflect my values.
Starting my own modeling school and producing fashion shows from the ground up came with financial challenges, long nights, and seasons where support felt scarce. There were even times I questioned if it was worth it. But I kept going — not just for myself, but for the next generation of models, especially young people who needed someone to believe in them before they could believe in themselves.
Launching The Latachie Ann Show Runway Diaries was also a leap of faith. There were technical challenges, budget limitations, and the pressure of putting something new into the world. But through prayer, determination, and an amazing support system, I pushed through — and the launch was proof that even the hardest roads can lead to something beautiful.
The struggles have been real — rejection, setbacks, and personal sacrifices — but they’ve only made me stronger, wiser, and more committed to my purpose. Every no prepared me for a greater yes.

At Sky Modeling School, we specialize in runway training, posing, confidence-building, personal branding, etiquette, and public speaking. What sets us apart is our holistic approach — we don’t just teach you how to walk; we teach you how to walk boldly in your identity, faith, and calling.
Our school is known for cultivating self-esteem, leadership, and excellence, especially among youth and adults who may have never seen themselves represented in this space. One of the things I’m most proud of brand-wise is how Sky Modeling School opens doors that once seemed closed, especially for those who didn’t think they “fit” the mold. Our alumni have gone on to walk major shows, be featured in magazines, and even start their own businesses. But more than that, they’ve gained confidence — and that’s priceless.
We also host two signature annual fashion shows: Elegance on the Runway and Elegant Kids, where our students get the chance to shine, gain experience, and give back. A portion of proceeds from these shows supports causes like the American Heart Association, because we believe in purpose-driven fashion.
If there’s one thing I want readers to know, it’s this: Sky Modeling School is where dreams take shape, and destinies are unlocked. We are committed to raising up the next generation of models, entrepreneurs, and change-makers — one confident step at a time.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something surprising that most people who know me or are familiar with my work might not know is that I once had a deep love for hip-hop and even wrote music. Before launching fashion shows and talk shows, I explored songwriting as a creative outlet. It was my way of telling stories, expressing emotions, and uplifting others — and while I never pursued it as a full-time career, it’s still a part of who I am. One of my biggest inspirations in the hip-hop industry has been Queen Latifah. Not only is she an icon in music, but she’s also a trailblazer in film, business, and female empowerment.
Another thing people may not realize is that I’m a trained inspirational and salsa dancer. Movement has always been a form of expression for me, whether it’s on the runway or the dance floor. And beyond the lights, cameras, and business, I’m also someone who has experienced real-life struggles — from moments of deep doubt to financial hardship — but I’ve never stopped believing in the power of faith, vision, and perseverance.
People often see the polished version of the brand, but what they don’t always see is the woman behind it all — a mother, a giver, a fighter, and a believer who built everything with God as the foundation. That’s the real heartbeat behind everything I do.
