The Journey of Faith: Founding The Kingdom Of God Nonprofit
Empowering Communities Through Education, Wealth, and Wellness
In 2014, I made a life-changing decision to step out on faith after dedicating nearly 15 years of service to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Guided by a deep passion to empower, educate, and enrich the lives of others, I embarked on a new journey—one that would lay the foundation for our nonprofit organization, The Kingdom Of God.
The desire to make a meaningful impact on individuals and families was always at the core of my being. Recognizing the need for resources and support to sustain our mission, I began searching for funding opportunities for our new nonprofit. It was during this period of exploration that I received an invitation to a workshop focused on generational wealth and financial literacy. Attending that workshop proved to be a pivotal moment—not only did it broaden my understanding of financial empowerment, but it also ignited a passion to bring this vital knowledge to my family and the broader community.
Inspired by the insights gained, I recognized the transformative power of equipping others with the tools and strategies necessary for financial freedom and generational prosperity. From that point onward, the vision for The Kingdom Of God emerged health, wellness, and economic empowerment.
Since 2019, our organization has grown to form the Kingdom Wealth Team, a dynamic collective of entrepreneurs, professionals, mentors, community activists, and spiritual leaders. Each member brings unique expertise and a shared commitment to uplifting others. Together, we aspire to provide guidance and education to families in key areas of life, including health, wellness, and financial independence.
Our approach is rooted in action. Through thoughtfully curated workshops, interactive webinars, and motivational empowerment sessions, we strive to deliver practical knowledge and inspiration. These programs are designed to break cycles of financial hardship, and encourage a mindset of abundance within our communities.
The journey that began with a single step of faith has blossomed into a movement dedicated to lasting change. The Kingdom Of God nonprofit stands as a testament to the power of vision, perseverance, and the unwavering belief that when we empower one life, we uplift entire generations. Our story continues, driven by the hope that every family we reach will experience not only financial freedom, but also the enrichment of body, mind, and spirit.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
When it comes to health and financial literacy, many of us tend to prioritize immediate wants over essential needs and sustainable results. The allure of instant gratification whether it’s indulging in unhealthy habits or making impulsive purchases often overshadows the importance of long-term planning and consistent effort. This tendency can lead to choices that compromise both our physical well-being and financial stability. One of the most significant hurdles is encouraging others to recognize the value of being proactive and preventative in both health and financial matters. It is challenging to shift mindsets from a reactive approach waiting until problems arise to one that emphasizes prevention. However, adopting proactive ways can lead to greater resilience, improved quality of life, and lasting prosperity.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
In the next 5 to 10 years, I see the world being compelled to come together in Unity. This is what God intended for mankind to come together as one. As perilous times continues to rise, The Kingdom God will be ready and equipped!
