Today we’d like to introduce you to Regan Barwick.
Hi Regan, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Before Lily and Olive I was fully focused on my fresh floral business, Everose Co, designing custom fresh flowers for weddings and events. Over the years, the cost of fresh florals and other design materials began to drastically increase and my clients, even those with larger budgets, were having to compromise on the florals they wanted, especially the larger pieces like arches or high quantity items like centerpieces. When clients started to ask me if they could rent some of their pieces from a faux floral decor company and have the other pieces designed by me using fresh florals, I was completely on board but when they started asking for company recommendations I realized that the options for local, high quality faux floral rentals that were both luxurious and affordable were very limited. That is when the concept of Lily and Olive began. Over the next year, I started sourcing the most realistic faux florals and foliage I could find, experimenting with designs and finding ways to create faux pieces that truly looked and felt like real flower arrangements. I designed my first piece, the Jade Arch and launched Lily and Olive in May of 2024. Our first booked client was an elopement at The Oak Atelier that June. As interest grew, I began to create additional arches and in May of 2025 we launched our first full faux floral rental collection, Opal, which offers an arch, floral meadows, bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, and more. We are currently in the process of launching our newest collection, Pearl, with two more collections on the way!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I would say the hardest parts of this journey have been sourcing and deciding on the logistics of the designs and materials. It can be very difficult to find high quality faux flowers that have believable color variation, petal curling, realistic stems, etc..For my most recent collection, Pearl, I needed lots of white roses and since they were going to be such a focal point of the collection I knew they had to be perfect. I browsed, ordered and purchased over 100 faux white roses before finally finding the perfect ones! It has also taken a few tries to find the best vessels, base materials, frames, etc.. that can both beautifully display the florals as well as function as needed in a venue setting and hold up to repeated use.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Lily and Olive?

How do you define success?
For me, a successful business all comes down to happy clients. As a business owner, you are always going to make mistakes and fall short sometimes but as long as your clients have a good experience working with you and are happy once the event is over, I consider that a success. Personal success to me means living a well balanced life where my work gives me the ability to be creative and make people happy but also allows me to prioritize my personal life and spend time with my loved ones.
