Hi Derreck, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
spent 16 years working for Verizon Wireless, where I became one of the top sales representatives in the company. During that time, I built strong relationships, developed a passion for helping people, and took pride in delivering great service.
Unfortunately, I began to lose my eyesight, which pushed me to rethink my path and future. Instead of letting that setback stop me, I used it as motivation to create something meaningful.
I’ve always loved working with kids and bringing joy to others, so I decided to start my own bounce house rental business. Now, I get to help families create fun, memorable experiences while doing something I truly enjoy
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Since losing my vision, everyday tasks like driving and marketing have become more challenging. But I’ve been incredibly blessed with an amazing support system. Diana, Sam Pittman, and my mom, Diana Taylor, have all been there for me every step of the way. Their encouragement, support, and belief in me have made it possible for me to keep pushing forward and growing my business.
