Today we’d like to introduce you to Ice House Radio.
Hi Ice House Radio, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Ice House Radio is an online streaming radio station *and* ice house. We have 70+ monthly resident DJs who spin everything from cumbia to industrial techno to ambient or classical. We pop=up in various locations (currently at The Car Wash under Echoes at 900 Richmond, but also play at MFAH, CAMH, Lawndale, Saint Arnold, Art League Houston, etc) and film live video of DJs playing great music and broadcast it live on our website.
We also post all the sets on our YouTube and SoundCloud accounts so you can watch them back at your leisure.
Ice House Radio was started by Sean Bradley and Jackson Allers, two radio alums and film makers who saw the need to highlight the great DJs and music of Houston.
We deeply rely on the incredible DJs who bless our digital airwaves and the volunteers who create our graphics and keep our social media up to date (shout out in particular to Miguel Flaco and Ryan Hollaway in these arenas!)
We serve ice cold beers and delicious natural wines by the class – come watch a great DJ make great radio and learn a little about what makes the Houston music scene unique.

So many great DJs we’d love to work with, but we have limited resources to host them all!
