Today we’d like to introduce you to Maeve De Voe
Hi Maeve, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Asanzuri {Hello}! I am Maeve De Voe: The World’s First Princess Pop Star with a mission to Make The World Smile!
Since I was a little princess, I’ve always wanted to be a pop star. I’d sing everywhere I went with my tiara on, and imagine myself on stage in-front of thousands. As a tween {also during teen}, I focused my talents on training to be on Broadway, doing multiple shows at once in community theatre. When I became a teenager, around 2014, I started writing original lyrics and made simple melodies on my piano. In 2015, I produced my first original song on GarageBand called “I’m Different”, and began my journey as a producer. Since then, I’ve been producing, writing, and mixing/engineering original songs in my at-home studio!
In 2016, I trained on producing in Logic Pro X and learned music theory at the Frost School of Music for the summer. In 2018, I left high school to start college, and train my voice classically with opera. I’d take numerous technique classes, along with being in choir, and taking music theory until 2020. In summer 2023, I doubled my time as the princess pop star with my dream of being a scientist: I studied meteorology with Harvard online, passing with a 100, and in the fall, I studied neuroscience with Harvard again.
In 2020, because I had to leave college, I took the time to work on my career full-time. I’d basically prepare as hard as I could for my debut, training every day, and building my brand. On New Year’s Day 2021, I had become a full-time princess. Continuously working towards the day I begin, I finally debuted with my original single “I’m Different” on July 9th, 2021. However, something changed. On May 9th, 2022, I was officially The World’s First Princess Pop Star, playing on radio stations around the world, and being known for my peach hair. Ever since then, I’ve grown more and more because of my DeVoeted fans! I’ve worked harder and harder every day for my dreams and to truly Make The World Smile!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
God has been with me every step of the way, so everything I believe has been blessed. Before every decision or project, I pray outside for hours on end. I give my entire life to God, allowing Him to be in charge. I’ve been able to tell immediately if something is off, so I’ve thankfully avoided a lot of situations. I adore the feeling of working in tandem with Him, and I can’t wait to see what else we can achieve together.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Achieving 110+ weeks on Top 20 charts in London, NYC, Toronto, and more in my first 2 years, landing myself on 400+ radio stations in 120+ countries, I enchant thousands with hit original and cover singles in multiple genres. I’m the mixer, lyricist, recording engineer, and my own manager! I’m a one-girl show! Wearing a tiara every single day with my signature peach hair, my dream is to be the ambassador of smiles to the world. I wish to make global change: connecting people all over the world to each other with their love of music, no matter the language. I work to be a role model to girls and women, along with creating a fun and positive environment for my fans.
I’ve achieved three #1 hit songs in 8 months, and recently walked the red carpet winning a trophy at the ISSA Awards 2024 for “USA Female Emerging Artist”. I’ve trained my voice and technique for 13 years. I also won the Texas Teen Talent competition at age 14.
Everything you see on social media and for my career is created by me! I handle all legalities, promo, management, and content. I can sing in 12 languages, have a 4 octave range, I’m currently writing 14 books, and I’m always staying active posting and interacting with my fans online!
