The Story Behind Tameless Tallow
What began as a journey to create healthier, more natural products for my family has grown into something far beyond what I ever imagined.
I started as a homemaker, making small changes in our home by choosing more natural products for my family. When my daughter began experiencing skin issues, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I began learning about traditional ingredients and started making my own tallow soap and other natural skincare products.
As I saw the difference these products made for my family, my passion grew. I began diving deeper into the art of formulation, experimenting with new ingredients, developing unique products, and expanding my knowledge of natural skincare.
For approximately three years, we took our products to local markets, meeting customers face-to-face and learning what people truly wanted from handcrafted, natural products.
Those markets became an important part of our journey and helped us build relationships with our community.
As my husband approached retirement, we made a life-changing decision: instead of simply continuing with markets, we would take a leap of faith and create something of our own — a unique storefront where our passion, creativity, and love for natural products could come together under one roof.
That dream became Tameless Tallow.
Our goal was never to simply create another skincare company.
We wanted to build an experience a place where people could discover handcrafted, all-natural tallow-based products, explore unique scents and creations, and feel connected to the people who make them.
From those first batches of soap made at home to our storefront today, Tameless Tallow has been built through passion, hard work, creativity, and a whole lot of faith.
We continue to grow, create, learn, and push ourselves to make products that are unique, purposeful, and made with care.
What started as one mother trying to find better options for her family has grown into a business, a passion, and a dream that we continue to build every single day.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We are still navigating the challenges that come with building a small business, especially when it comes to helping people understand the true value of choosing natural, thoughtfully made products for their skin and body.
At Tameless Tallow, we believe that making the switch to more natural products shouldn’t be something reserved for a select few. We want everyone to have the opportunity to experience the difference that simple, carefully chosen ingredients can make in their daily skincare routine.
That is why affordability has always been incredibly important to us. We work hard to keep our products reasonably priced without compromising the quality, craftsmanship, or ingredients that go into every product we create.
Our goal has never been simply to sell another product.
We want to educate, encourage, and provide natural alternatives that people can feel good about using—while making sure those choices remain accessible to everyday families.

I choose to maintain a positive mindset and believe that great success is ahead for Tameless Tallow.
