Daily Inspiration: Meet Alan Majors

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alan Majors.

Hi Alan, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hailing from Milwaukee, WI and being raised between Rochester, NY and Cleveland, OH, I was exposed to a lot of different perspectives and culture and it helped shape my creative outlook. I pulled inspiration from every region and culture which helped shape me into an eclectic entertainer a wide range of fans and exposure on both a domestic and international fronts. As seen on allhiphop.com, all major streaming platforms and shows like “Love & Hip Hop: LA” and “You’re The Worst”. I always felt like the struggles and triumphs would put me in the height of success and push me into being the star I feel I am becoming. I went to show my creativity in collab and solo fronts and was a featured performer at SXSW 2026 (Check my NERD Core sets for awesomeness) #NuffSaid

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Being from, the Midwest region, the battle was like Ice Skating up hill… I really gained footing from trying to overcome the obstacles placed on me and just tried to venture out and try to venture out and try to change the perspective (Hope I did well) I kept being creative and speaking my reality but I also moved to put myself in a better space where … paying and having to bend the knee to certain people, because they carried favor in the Ohio and the other parts of your origin story.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Known for rapping but not where i seem to blend in mostly just congeal. I am most proud of having someone from the UK emailing me saying that they are a fan and follow my work and have it as a part of day to day life and in there routine. Ok and the relative, who puts any of my songs in rotation in the car via their streaming platform.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Difficult to address as we all start off on unequal footing but I will say being authentic…as cliche as it sounds will help which I know can be a hassle when you are chasing a success but being tru to the mirror reflection is key imo
