Today we’d like to introduce you to Jada Vaughan, also known as G.I. Jada.
Hi Jada, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am excited to be here! Thank you for having me. I host a live series every week on Instagram called Successful Saturdays. It started with me just knowing a variety of entrepreneurs who are all doing amazing things, and I wanted to highlight them in a positive way to help others as well as myself learn & grow. Due to the pandemic, I realized my virtual audience grew very rapidly and people had something to look forward to on Saturdays.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Overall it’s been fairly easy and most importantly it has been fun! There’s been minor challenges like technical issues and last minute schedule changes, but I always find a way to make it work no matter what because I want to be consistent and hold myself accountable to the things I say I’m going to do for Successful Saturdays. The hardest part I would say is when I have personal issues going on, but I push myself to show up with positive energy so my special guest can have a successful interview.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am most proud of my Successful Saturdays series and the platform it has become for other small businesses. We are innovating more ways to interact with our viewers, who are very loyal, and network with special guest every week. We look forward to expanding to other live platforms as well such as Facebook, YouTube, and Clubhouse!
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I was born in Petersburg, Virginia but grew up traveling the world as a military brat, and now enlisted in the Army Reserves. I’m also a mom and a soon to be wife, so I enjoy spending as much time as I can with my family. Shoutout to my baby boy Shiloh and his amazing father who you all may know as Rocky Banks. 2021 I hope we can really make an impact, especially for other moms and their families.
