Daily Inspiration: Meet Michelle Lopez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Lopez.

Hi Michelle, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Started lashing since 2012 freshly graduating high school/cosmetology program. Dabbled in everything from waxing, barbering, hair & makeup but devoted to lashes in 2016 shortly after my daughter was born.
Freelanced my own studio in Oak Ridge, The Woodlands until 2021 and am now home based in the Humble area. I became a master lash technician in 2017 as well as added permanent makeup to my resume & shortly after, a master lash trainer. In 2022 I was grandfathered in with TDLR as a cosmetology Instructor.
Though I have accomplished a lot in the last 13 years, I am now onto my next business project, which is creating a mobile perfume bar. Coming soon in December 2025.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Due to my faith it has been a smooth ride but definelty full of challenges from not having a clue about entrepreneurship to global shutdown. Also, figuring out how to stay afloat by consistently delivering quality work regardless of personal issues & excess competition.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Lash extensions is the main thing. I specialize In permanent makeup, lash extensions as well as lash licensing & certification. I’m known for my vibrant personality & great worth ethic with my social media family.
I’m the most proud of, though not having a clue, successfully created a business and community that consistently delivers great quality and new experienced technicians into the work force without having any leadership help.
I believe I set Myself apart because of how devoted I am to never fail. I aim to always be the best, failure is never in my vocabulary. The best in customer service & my craft.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
That I love to cook & interior design. Which maybe most of my online followers might have picked up by now.
