Daily Inspiration: Meet Padon Suber

Today we’d like to introduce you to Padon Suber.

Hi Padon, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey in music began with a genuine love for creating and performing. I started as a musician and singer, developing my sound through R&B and Neo-Soul, while also expanding into genres like reggae, dancehall, soca, and world music. Over time, my passion for music opened doors beyond being an artist and led me into music production, live entertainment, music direction, sound engineering, and composing for film and stage.

As I continued growing, I realized I wanted to build more than just a career as a performer—I wanted to create meaningful experiences through music in all its forms. Today, through PadonSings and my production work, I balance being an independent recording artist with creating original music for films and theatrical productions, directing live performances, and providing professional music and production services. The journey has been built step by step through hard work, relationships, and a willingness to keep evolving creatively.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Like many independent creatives, one of my biggest challenges has been learning how to balance the creative side of the business with the business side. There have been seasons of investing time, money, and energy into projects without immediately seeing the results I hoped for.

Another challenge has been building visibility and opportunities independently while continuing to grow as an artist, producer, and creative professional. There were moments when I had to adapt, take on different roles, and continue believing in the bigger vision even when progress felt slow.

But those challenges have also helped shape me. They taught me patience, consistency, adaptability, and the importance of building genuine relationships. Looking back, every difficult season pushed me to become more versatile and better prepared for the opportunities I have today.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a multi-disciplinary artist and creative professional working across music, live entertainment, film, and stage. At the core of what I do is music—I’m a singer, musician, producer, composer, and music director. I create original music, perform live, develop music for film and theatrical productions, and help bring productions to life from both the creative and technical side.

I specialize in creating music that supports a story and an experience. Whether I’m performing on stage, producing a song, composing a film score, directing musicians, or engineering sound for a live production, I’m always thinking about how all of the pieces work together to create something meaningful for the audience.

I’m most proud of the fact that I’ve been able to build a sustainable career by continuing to expand my abilities rather than limiting myself to one role. I’ve had the opportunity to work across different genres and creative spaces, from R&B, Neo-Soul, reggae, dancehall and soca to film scoring, theater, and live entertainment.

What sets me apart is my versatility and my ability to see the bigger picture. I’m not just approaching a project as a singer or musician—I understand the production, the musicians, the technology, the storytelling, and the audience experience. That allows me to contribute in multiple ways while still bringing my own artistic identity to everything I do.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
There are several ways people can work with or support me. If you’re an artist, filmmaker, theater professional, event producer, or creative looking for music, production, live entertainment, music direction, sound engineering, or original composition, I’m always open to collaborating and bringing ideas to life.

For those who simply want to support my journey as an independent artist, listening to my music, sharing it, attending my live performances, following my work, and connecting with me on social media all make a real difference.

I’m especially interested in collaborating with creatives who have a vision and want to build something meaningful. I believe some of the best work happens when different creative perspectives come together, so I’m always open to the right conversation and the right project.
