We’re looking forward to introducing you to Dina Torres Miss. Check out our conversation below.

Dina, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The First 90 Minutes of my start with my meditation, my skin care routine a cup of coffee my prayers and ready to get my day started!
My meditation it’s a important part of my day!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
as a proud latina born in central america, my journey into the beauty industry has been one of resilience, passion and purpose after losing my job overnight. what could have been devastating setback became the catalyst for pursuing my true calling, i channeled my lifelong passion for beauty into opening my own lash studio , were we specialized in creating custom lashes designed uniquely for each client, what drives me every day isn”t just the artistry of beautiful lashes – its the profound transformation i witness when women look in the mirror and see their confidence renewed. this mission became especially meaningful to me when i began working with clients who have lost their natural lashes due to medical conditions. there’s something incredible powerful about helping someone reclaim no just their lashes. but their sense of self. my studio isn’t just a business ; it’s a sanctuary. where every women can experience the joy of feeling beautiful and confident each custom lashes we created tells a story sometime of celebration sometimes of healing . from my central america roots to building this dream from the ground up i’ve learning that our greatest challenges often lead us to our most beautiful purposes.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who taught you the most about work?
losing my job overnight was initially devastating. but it became my greatest teacher , that experience taught me that security doesn’t come from depending on others – it comes from believe in yourself and your ability to create your own path. running my own lash studio has shown me that real work i just about earning money its about serving others with purpose .

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
absolutely. there was a moment about few years ago when i was just opened my studio when everything felt like it was falling apart. i was working 12-14 hours a day trying to build my business froi could make rent payment m scratch while managing every aspect of the business myself. the financial pressure was overwhelming – i had invest what i had and some months i wasn’t sure was make for the rent . i remember sitting in my studio looking bills and thinking maybe i made a terrible mistake. the breaking point came when i had to choose between paying my rent or cover my personal expenses, i was trying to look up for another job and give up on my dreams. but something shifted the next morning when a dear client called me telling she believe i was gonna make it. she offered me small loan on a exchange for lashes her words and support comforted me at that moment she shared how my beautiful lashes makes her feel .at that moment i though i was gonna created something meaningful and how women feel wearing beautiful lashes, those difficult moments taught me that success isn’t about never falling down its about getting back up with clearly vision and purpose

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
absolutely, what you see is who i am – there’s no separation between my public persona and my authentic self i’ve learned that trying to be someone else is exhausting and ultimate unsustainable’ specially when you’re building a business ,that so deeply personal to you, my clients see me as my most genuine because this works comes from real place in my heart, being latina being someone who started from scratch . being passionate about making women feel beautiful – these aren’t marketing strategies, this my lived experience and it informs everything i do, i t5hink people can sense authenticity. i wont pretend entrepreneurship is always glamorous or that every day is perfect .there are moments of doubt . days when i’m tired but even in those moments my commitment to my clients and my mission remains genuine.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. When do you feel most at peace?
i find peace in my studio is my happy place. also those quiet moments right after applying a clients lashes and see her face transform when she look in the mirror for the first time . there’s a beautiful silence that happens just before she speak honestly some of the most calming moments happen when i’m working on my clients sometimes we talk . sometimes we laugh and another times its just a quite moment that i truly enjoy.
