Exploring Life & Business with Daniela Vera of Vera’s Solutions Group LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniela Vera.

Hi Daniela, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Ten years ago, I arrived in the United States carrying many fears and uncertainties. Over time, those fears turned into dreams, and step by step, I began giving them shape and purpose.

My journey has been built through hard work, learning, and the willingness to start wherever I needed to start. I worked at Wendy’s, later became the manager of an automotive paint store, and eventually decided to study and earn my Health and Life Insurance licenses.

That decision opened the door to something that became much more than a career for me. Today, I have the privilege of helping Hispanic and American families understand the U.S. health insurance system and make informed decisions to protect their health, their families, and their financial future. One of the things I value most about my work is being able to make a system that can often feel complicated a little easier to understand and navigate.

But my story is not only about business. I am also a proud mother of two—a 7-year-old daughter and a 14-year-old son—and they are an important part of everything I do and continue to build.

Another side of me has always been part of who I am: art. I am an art lover and a professional actress dedicated to Spanish-language theater. Acting allows me to connect with people in a completely different way and reminds me of the importance of telling our stories, preserving our culture, and staying connected to who we are.

Looking back at these ten years, I see a journey that began with fear but grew into dreams, purpose, and service. I am still building, still learning, and still dreaming—and I am grateful for every step that has brought me here.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Starting over in a new country meant learning almost everything again—from the language and culture to understanding how different systems work—while also raising a family and trying to build a future.

One of my biggest challenges was learning to trust the process. There were moments when I had to take opportunities simply because they were the next step available, even when I didn’t know exactly where they would lead. I worked hard, learned from every experience, and slowly discovered what I was capable of.

Building a career in the insurance industry brought its own challenges. I had to study, earn my licenses, learn a complex healthcare system, build a client base, and earn people’s trust. As an immigrant and a mother, I also had to learn how to balance my professional goals with being present for my family.

At the same time, I never wanted to give up the artistic part of myself. Continuing my work as an actress while growing professionally in insurance has required discipline, organization, and sometimes sacrifice.

The road has not always been easy, but every challenge has taught me something. I’ve learned that starting over doesn’t mean starting from nothing—you bring your experiences, values, talents, and dreams with you. And sometimes, the path you never planned becomes the one that helps you discover your purpose.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Vera’s Solutions Group was built with a simple purpose: to help people feel more confident and informed when making health and financial protection decisions.

We specialize in Health and Life Insurance, helping individuals and families understand their options and find coverage that fits their needs. Our services include individual and family health insurance, Medicare, life insurance, and supplemental protection.

One area I am especially passionate about is education. Insurance—particularly the U.S. healthcare system—can be confusing, and for many Hispanic families, navigating that system in a second language can make it even more overwhelming. I believe people should understand what they are purchasing, how their coverage works, and how to actually use it when they need it.

That is one of the things that sets Vera’s apart. My goal is not simply to sell a policy. I take the time to listen, explain options in both English and Spanish, answer questions, and continue supporting my clients after enrollment. I want them to feel that they have someone they can call when they don’t understand a bill, need help navigating their coverage, or simply have a question.

I am most proud of the trust we have built with the families we serve. Many of our clients come through referrals, and to me, there is no greater compliment than someone trusting us enough to recommend our services to a family member or friend.

At Vera’s, we believe insurance is ultimately about people. It is about protecting your health, your family, and what you have worked hard to build. My goal is to make that protection easier to understand, more personal, and accessible to the communities we serve.

One phrase that captures how I approach this work is: “The best insurance is the one that is active when you need it most.”

What does success mean to you?
I define success as having the freedom to build a purposeful life.

For me, success is not measured only by income, titles, or professional accomplishments. It is being able to provide for my family, be present as a mother, continue pursuing my passion for acting, and build a business that genuinely helps other people.

Success is also looking back at the woman who arrived in this country ten years ago with so many fears and realizing how many of those fears eventually became dreams—and how many of those dreams, step by step, became reality.

But perhaps the most meaningful part of success is being able to use what I have learned along the way to help someone else. If my work can give a family greater peace of mind, help someone understand their options, or inspire someone starting over to believe they can build something of their own, then I consider that success.

I am still building and still dreaming. To me, success is not a destination; it is being grateful for how far you have come while remaining excited about where you are going.
