Today we’d like to introduce you to Levada Cannon.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey has definitely not been a straight line, but every chapter has taught me something I needed for the next one.
I entered the insurance industry in 2011, and that experience eventually opened the door to entrepreneurship. Over the years, I expanded into tax preparation and financial services and built Sev7th Dimension with a mission centered around education, resources, and helping people create better opportunities for themselves.
Entrepreneurship has given me some of my greatest successes, but it has also humbled me. I’ve experienced seasons where business was thriving and opportunities were flowing, and I’ve experienced seasons where life forced me to slow down, reevaluate everything, and rebuild.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that starting over doesn’t mean starting from nothing. I still had my education, licenses, experience, relationships, knowledge, and every lesson I learned along the way.
Today, I’m in a season of rebuilding, evolving, and becoming more intentional about what I want my life and businesses to look like. I’m continuing to grow Sev7th Dimension while expanding professionally and stepping into new opportunities.
My story isn’t a perfectly packaged success story—and I’m actually proud of that. I’m still building, still learning, and still becoming. I want people to see that losing momentum doesn’t mean you’ve lost your purpose. Sometimes your next chapter requires you to rebuild differently, wiser and stronger than before.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of my biggest struggles has been learning how to keep going when life and business are both demanding something from you at the same time.
Entrepreneurship has taught me that success isn’t always consistent. I’ve experienced great seasons financially, but I’ve also experienced slow seasons, lost momentum, unexpected setbacks, and moments where I had to figure out how to rebuild while still being a mother, provider, and the person everyone was accustomed to depending on.
One of the most humbling lessons was realizing how different life feels when you’ve spent years being the resource, the problem solver, and the person everyone calls and suddenly you’re the one who needs support. That season taught me a lot about relationships, finances, discipline, and the importance of creating stability outside of entrepreneurship.
I’ve had to pivot professionally, rebuild financially, and make some difficult personal decisions while continuing to show up for my children and my businesses. There were moments when I questioned myself, but I never completely gave up on myself.
I’ve learned that resilience isn’t always about being strong. Sometimes it’s being willing to admit something isn’t working, change direction, start again, and keep moving even when the new plan looks completely different from the original one.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My business is Sev7th Dimension. I created the brand as a reflection of both who I am and what I wanted to build. The number seven has always been significant to me, I was born 7/7, and seven represents completion. Sev7th Dimension represents evolving beyond where you are and creating another dimension of opportunity for yourself.
We specialize in tax preparation, life and health insurance, Medicare, and financial education and services. At the core of everything I do is education. I don’t want people to simply purchase a service from me; I want them to understand what they’re doing, why they’re doing it, and how that knowledge can benefit them long-term.
What sets Sev7th Dimension apart is that we focus on being a resource. Whether someone needs help understanding their taxes, protecting their family through insurance, or learning how to create additional income by entering the tax industry, I want them to leave with more knowledge than they came with.
I’m especially proud that the brand has grown beyond just me serving clients. I’ve been able to teach and mentor other tax professionals and entrepreneurs, helping them develop skills they can use to generate income and build something of their own.
Ultimately, I want Sev7th Dimension to represent access, education, and opportunity. One thing I say often is, “Knowledge is the new currency.” The more you understand, the better equipped you are to make decisions that can change the trajectory of your life.
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
There are several ways to work with or support me.
