Hidden Gems: Meet Alma Perez of Real Estate Agent

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alma Perez

Hi Alma, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started in the Real Estate world in 2021 while I was working at a Real Estate Firm as an administrative assistant. I learned so much with the Broker I was working under at that time. Even though I was not an agent at the time, she took the time to explain certain paperwork to me and how the process would work so that I would be able to explain that the agents whenever they would need help coming into the office. She was partly the reason why I decided to continue my schooling for Real Estate. She saw the potential I had in helping others and was giving me the opportunity for growth within her company.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No It has not been a smooth road. I quit my full time job at the Real Estate firm I was working and jumped straight into Entrepreneurship with Real Estate and my other businesses. It has certainly been a roller coaster ride, but I do not regret how I did it. I have been keeping my faith in God that everything will be better.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I can service all of Texas for Real Estate services but I mainly specialize in Houston and surrounding areas for Residential or Commercial services to Buy, Sell or Lease a property.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I can see myself being in charge or leading a team of agents in the future whether as a a Team lead or as a Broker.
