Hidden Gems: Meet Lila Hawthorne of Lilys Life Juice

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lila Hawthorne.

Hi Lila, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
This business was given to me by God. I really wasn’t thinking about starting a business at all.

In 2020 we were in the midst of COVID. And as you know in that time so many things were happening and there was so much uncertainty….

My kids and I were all stuck in the house and I was doing personal training on ZOOM.
And as a personal trainer I was really into health and fitness!

I remember one day speaking to my Pastor and the idea for me to start my own business making juices was introduced to me….. I juggled with the idea for a bit and I just trusted God and took a leap of faith.
When I pressed the gas pedal, it took off!

And here we are 6 years later….Lilys Life Juice is still in full effect, still thriving.

I never imagined it would take me this far, it was literally just one day at a time, one step at a time. I’m beyond grateful to God that He brought me this far and I’m super excited for what tomorrow will bring!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No the road hasn’t always been smooth, lol.

I wish it were that easy, but unfortunately it’s not. You just figure it out as you go along.

I do a lot of different Farmers Markets and different events regularly. And I remember that there was a particular Market that I was frequently attending as a vendor…I never missed an event with them. It was always a great turnout for me and one day out of no where they dropped me. Till this day I don’t really know why and I try not to dwell on it but I took a hit when that happened…Financially, Mentally & Emotionally…..

But as a business owner you can’t stop there, you take the hit and keep moving forward. I didn’t have time to park there in that moment and allow it to become a set back. I don’t know about you, but in business, we just don’t have that type of time! So I found a new market and kept going!

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I sell 100% All Natural Juices and products. Sea Moss, Ginger Shots, & Alkaline Infused Fruit Water. We have been established since 2020.

All of our products are only made with fruit and vegetables. There are no added sugars, no processed ingredients or artificial flavorings. We pride ourselves on being 100% natural all the time.

We are set apart because the juices are so delicious. I often joke that I’m a mixologist!
People want healthy but they also want delicious and that’s what we provide.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
No one is going to believe in your vision/dream more than you!

Never Give Up

KEEP GOING

Failure happens when you quit
