Hi Whitney, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am a serial entrepreneur from Houston, TX. I got into the business world at a very young age. I was 16 when I decided to begin my journey. At first, I was just desperate to start something I could call my own. I wanted to do something that would make me a lot of money. During 2016 the glitter eye trend was very popular. I remember going to the MAC counter wanting to do a glitter cut crease for homecoming and the lady said “$20” for a small little jar of glitter so I decided to start selling it. One of the best things I did because once I created my brand and I became established I took off. Fast forward to today it’s evolved into The Glam Mafia by Whitney Eze. I’m known for selling good quality hair at an affordable price. I am currently the number one hair supplier in West Texas! I work so hard to ensure everything I do is correct and perfect in all my business ventures. With coronavirus going on I had much free time to get into my creating mode. This passion created my agency The Glam Marketing Agency. The goal is to help young women create their dream business through digital, marketing, and branding techniques. So far, I’ve branded over 300 female businesses.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Looking back now on my journey of who I’ve become it took a lot of patience, dedication, and hard work. My success didn’t happen overnight. One thing I want people to know from reading this is that entrepreneurship isn’t as glamorous as it seems. You’ll have days you don’t make sales, rude customers, and days you want to quit. All I can say is to keep going! The hard work and tears eventually pay off and your success will be your noise forever.
