Let’s jump in with a fun one: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
Yesterday I woke up, made over 50 sandwiches for the houseless/homeless and went scouting people in the streets of Houston and gave them lunch bags! That made me feel proud.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Eliane Adebiyi “Lily” is a devoted mother of four beautiful daughters—one of whom now watches over her from heaven. A passionate entrepreneur, she built a career as a rising beauty expert and magazine publisher, using her creativity to inspire confidence in others. A woman that wears many hats, her latest adventures include catering for events in the Houston area. In her words, “My love language is food, I believe that food can either heal or kill someone. So, I use my passion in cooking to share my love while healing people”

At the tender age of 11 Lily cooked for her large family back in Africa until she moved to the USA in the early 90’s. Becoming a mother of 4 her passion to spread love through her food grew. In her words, “Food is my love language and sharing my food is sharing a piece of me. I am passionate about seeing people enjoying food that I have prepared with so much love and joy!”
Lily continues to share her love language through food by volunteering to cook for organizations who assist individuals who are less fortunate

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
My marriage journey that took an unexpected turn when betrayal shook the foundation of my faith, and trust. But through unwavering resilience and my deep relationship with God, I transformed my pain into purpose.
Then, came the brutal divorce from my now ex-husband Today, I have released it in my latest memoir “I asked God to save my marriage. He chose to save instead” . I shares my story to help others find healing, hope, and strength in the face of adversity.
My testimony is a reminder that even in the darkest moments, God is always working behind the scenes—turning ashes into beauty.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
I never gave up because I was and always will be anchored by my faith!
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that family matters to me because they have witnessed me fight to the point of my own demise for a marriage that clearly wasn’t working trying to keep my family together.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
The story that I hope people would tell about me when I am gone is that I defied a lot of odds against through not only my accomplishments but by my resilience to overcoming a lot of challenges in my life including a double betrayal and the passing of my daughter. Yet, I chose peace while inspiring many to see beauty behind everything that God allows to happen in our lives and how we use those as “opportunities” to build/shape our character.
