What I’m most proud of building; something that people don’t directly see but that truly drives my success is the deep, behind-the-scenes foundation of strategic business restructuring, compliance, and carefully planned steps that align with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. I work closely alongside attorneys to encourage and guide my clients in taking actions that not only support their business goals but also ensure full legal compliance.
This foundation includes a carefully cultivated network of business connections and tailored strategies designed specifically to meet each client’s unique needs. I integrate legal experts with consulting services seamlessly, helping clients confidently navigate complex transactions and business challenges.
In other words, what I’ve built is a strategic infrastructure and personalized approach, my unique blend of business insight, legal knowledge, and genuine dedication to clients, that quietly but powerfully sets me apart. It’s this invisible yet indispensable framework that I take the most pride in.

Hello! I’m Nicole Howard, founder and principal of MazzGlobal LLC, a Houston-based business consulting firm. I specialize in helping businesses with strategic restructuring, compliance, and growth by providing tailored solutions that align with legal requirements and industry best practices. What makes MazzGlobal unique is how we seamlessly integrate legal experts with business consulting, working closely with attorneys to ensure our clients take smart, compliant steps that support their long-term success.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the world told me who I had to be, I was myself; a young woman trying to find my way through the ups and downs of life and early adulthood. I was a single mother facing the immense challenges of balancing motherhood, work, and school all at once. There were many moments of struggle, challenges, and doubt, but I learned from my mistakes and used those experiences to grow stronger and wiser. I don’t mind sharing my downfalls and hard-earned lessons with others, hoping to uplift and inspire those who are navigating similar paths and remind them that they’re not alone. I have continued to educate myself and am currently furthering my education in the legal field, dedicating myself to doing my part while encouraging young adults to strengthen their knowledge and adapt to economic changes.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, there was plenty of times almost gave up. I was overwhelmed; mentally, emotionally, physically, and financially. I was constantly juggling motherhood, a demanding job, and school, all while barely having time to breathe; let alone dream. There were days I cried in silence; questioning whether all the sacrifices were worth it. I felt like I was pouring from an empty cup, constantly showing up for everyone else while neglecting myself. But even in those dark moments, something inside me refused to let go. I reminded myself that giving up wasn’t an option; not just for me, but for those watching me, depending on me to keep going. I learned to rest, not quit. And each time I got back up, I came back stronger, more focused, and more determined to build a life that made the struggle meaningful.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, the public version is the real me. I don’t know how to be anybody else but myself. What you see is who I am; flaws, growth, strength, and all. I’ve been through too much and learned too many lessons to pretend or perform. Authenticity isn’t just something I value; it’s the only way I know how to live and lead.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
People would most likely remember my legacy as one of resilience, authenticity, and impact. They’d say I never gave up, even when the odds were stacked against me. I stayed true to myself, led with integrity, and used my story, not to gain sympathy, but to uplift others and show them what’s possible. I believe people will remember how I showed up for my family, my community, and my clients with purpose and transparency. My legacy won’t just be about what I built; but about how I made others feel empowered to build something of their own.
