We’re looking forward to introducing you to Sabrina Miller kimble. Check out our conversation below.
Good morning Sabrina, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A normal day for me right now? Very Very busy! Making sure that all three campuses are providing a learning culture. Also making sure the students are being consistent with their attendance. Not to mention the paperwork that is Involved.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Sabrina Miller I am the proud owner /instructor at Pearlands Innovative School of Beauty. There a three locations Pearland, Pasadena, and Texas City. Our mission at Pearlands Innovative School of Beauty is to educate students in the field of Cosmetology and Esthetics. We give the student the foundation while allowing them to express their creativity as artist.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who taught you the most about work?
My family ,Growing up I was always taught that “if you don’t work you don’t eat”
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering help me to trust in GOD and not in people. Suffering also builds character and resilience.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
I think the biggest misperception is that you cant make a great living as a hairstylist. The beauty industry is a billion dollar industry. However individuals have to be taught how to maximize their ability to build revenue. That’s why its so important to create business classes for students that give them tools on how to stay financially sound in the beauty industry.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
I think they would miss the engagement. Me walking up to them smiling telling them how good it is to see them.
