Porshea (born Porshea Mitchell of Hearne, Texas) is a wife, mother, Purpose Mid-Wife and successful Entrepreneur who resides in Houston, Texas with her Husband Jarrod and daughter Chandler.

As a wife and mother of a blended family, she carefully and lovingly navigates the day to day operations of their lives. She loves to cook and in 2016 launched TheWilkinsKitchen.com – Creative Cuisines Your Belly is Gonna Love – to share her favorite cuisines and encourage women to get in the kitchen.
PURPOSE MID-WIFE
As a Purpose Mid-Wife, she leverages social media to teach “Kingdom principle” based content to those in her network. In 2014, while recovering from a myomectomy to remove multiple grapefruit size fibroids from her uterus, God gave her the assignment for Straight Talk Woman Talk. She serves as a purpose midwife for thousands of women globally where she encourages them to push past their pain and give birth to their purpose.
BUSINESS STRATEGIST + ENTREPRENEUR
As a Business Strategist & Entrepreneur, she is the Co-Founder of Wilkins Leadership Group, Inc. where she personally oversees all business operation. She and her husband lead an organization of professionals, across multiple continents in the Network Marketing profession, generating over $50 Million in revenue to date, producing multiple 6 and 7 figure earners. Their vision to Build It For Your Last Name (BIFYLN) has allowed them to develop one of the most admired organizations in the profession. Porshea earned a B.B.A. in Marketing from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, received Congressional Recognition for community development and managed the production of retail brands worth up to $1.4 Billion.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road isn’t smooth, because it’s not a road. Its a deep ocean filled with sharks who are are armed and ready to destroy your belief, joy, and dreams. Every day you must be willing to fight the biggest enemy you’ll ever have, and it’s not what you think, it’s not even a person – its the mind – your inner me. The small voice in your head that conflicts with your heart and reality. You must affirm daily what you want. Words are spirit. Whenever you say something, good or bad, just imagine a hand going out to get it and bring it to you. Where-ever you are in life you made the appointment to be there, by your thoughts and ultimately your actions. That’s why you’re born looking like your parents, but you die looking like your choices.
It won’t be easy. you will cry, quit, start again, get stressed, lose friends, get distant from family, experience setbacks and everything in between. I wish I could say the journey will be amazing, but the truth – although painful at times – is always best served hot. It will cost you everything in the beginning and provide you will everything in the end. Will there be happy moments? Absolutely! Understand they are just that – moments. They won’t last forever, so you must continue to revamp yourself and your surroundings. Competing against no one but who you used to be.
It’s scary I know, but you must face the fear and do it anyway. Put in work everyday knowing this: no one is coming to save you, if you want it, you must earn it. The most dishonorable thing a person can do is ask for something they never earned. At the end of the day, following your dreams is always better than living with a nightmare. Success is hard, failure is hard, but nothing is worse than dying with a heart full of “what if’s”. You have greatness in you, your purpose matters, your dreams are valid and no you’re not crazy. You’ll be just fine.

I am a Purpose Mid-Wife. I help women all over the world to give birth to the purpose they work and have been called to do. I speak truth to power, back by the word of God, and am commissioned develop a deploy a Global Army of Kingdom Women who are unashamed of their past, unbothered by the opposition and un-apologetically bold with their praise.
Do you think there are structural or other barriers impeding the emergence of more female leaders?
Speaking and stand in your truth. Meekness isn’t a weakness, it’s confidence on the ice, the challenge with most is they don’t know when to light the fire.
