Hi Adisa, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey has been anything but traditional, but looking back, I truly believe God has been guiding me through every season of my life, even the ones I didn’t understand at the time.
I grew up on the Southwest Side of Houston in a Bosnian immigrant family. We didn’t have much, and my mom worked extremely hard to provide for me. I didn’t grow up knowing my dad, and because I was the oldest, I took on a lot of responsibility at a very young age. I was often the one helping my family, speaking for them, and figuring things out. I started working when I was around 13 and eventually left traditional school because I wanted to help my mom financially.
I became a mom young, having my first child at 20 and my second at 22. Motherhood was one of the greatest blessings of my life, but it also brought some of the hardest seasons I had ever experienced. I lost my grandfather, who was incredibly important to me, while I was pregnant with my second child, and I also experienced the loss of having my brother taken away. At the same time, I was navigating postpartum depression and motherhood without much of a village or support system.
There were moments when I felt completely lost. I didn’t know what I was supposed to do with my life, and I felt like I was running out of time to become the person I was meant to be. But I believe God met me in that season.
I started creating content during one of the lowest points in my life. At first, it wasn’t about becoming an influencer or building a business. I honestly just needed something to give me a reason to get up, get ready, and feel like myself again. Being on camera pushed me to start taking care of myself and putting myself first in a way I hadn’t done before.
Over time, I built a community of women and moms who connected with my story. What started as something that helped me heal became something I could use to encourage other women. I eventually created ebooks and began teaching other moms and women how they could use content creation and social media to create additional income from home.
Today, I look at my journey differently. I don’t believe the difficult parts of my life were wasted. God used the things I went through to build my character, my strength, and ultimately my purpose. I went from a young girl who had to grow up quickly, to a young mother who felt lost, to becoming a creator, entrepreneur, and someone who gets to encourage other women.
I’m still growing, still learning, and still figuring things out, but I truly believe I’m exactly where God wants me to be. My story is a reminder to me that God can take the seasons that broke you, use them to build you, and eventually turn them into something that allows you to help somebody else.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Growing up was hard, and I went through things that I don’t really speak about publicly. There are parts of my story that I’ve kept private for a very long time, but they shaped me into the person I am today. I had to grow up very young and learn how to be strong, independent, and responsible before I really understood what those things meant. I experienced loss, family struggles, financial hardships, and later on, motherhood brought a completely different set of challenges. Becoming a mom while also dealing with postpartum depression and not having much of a village was one of the hardest seasons of my life. Through all of it, I always had faith and hope that things would eventually get better. But there came a point where I realized that having hope wasn’t enough , I needed a real relationship with God. I needed to stop trying to carry everything on my own and actually surrender my life to Him. Once I started building that relationship with God, so many things began to click for me. I started looking at my past differently. The things I had gone through didn’t disappear, but I began to understand that they didn’t have to define me either. My struggles taught me resilience, but my relationship with God taught me that I didn’t have to rely on my own strength all the time. I truly believe God carried me through seasons I didn’t think I would make it through, and He brought me to where I am today for a reason. Even the hardest parts of my story have given me a heart for other women and especially moms who may feel alone, lost, or like they’ve lost themselves. I’m still a work in progress, but now I don’t feel like I’m walking through life alone. My faith has become the foundation of everything I do, and I believe the same God who brought me through my hardest seasons is the God who is leading me into my purpose.

I’m a mom content creator, digital entrepreneur, and someone who is passionate about encouraging women to believe in themselves and create a life they’re proud of. A lot of my content centers around motherhood, lifestyle, beauty, everyday life, showing fun spots all over the place, also a food reviewer because I love food! Also my journey of becoming the woman and mother I am today. What I specialize in most is creating relatable content that makes women feel seen. I’m not trying to portray a perfect life or make motherhood look effortless. I share the real moments, the beautiful parts, the difficult parts, and everything in between. I think that authenticity is what has allowed me to build such a supportive community. I also create digital products and ebooks where I teach women, especially moms who are at home with their children, how they can use content creation and social media to create additional income opportunities. I know what it’s like to want to contribute financially while also wanting to be present with your children, because I’ve lived that myself. What I’m most proud of isn’t necessarily a number of followers or a specific accomplishment. It’s the women who have told me that something I shared encouraged them to get up, take care of themselves, start creating, believe in themselves again, or realize that motherhood didn’t mean they had to lose who they were. Knowing that my story can help another woman is something I don’t take lightly.
What sets me apart is that I didn’t start creating content because I had everything figured out. I started because I was struggling. I was a young mom going through a difficult season and trying to find myself again. Content creation became part of my healing, and God used something I originally started just to occupy my mind and get myself through a hard season and turned it into something much bigger than I could have imagined.
My faith is also a huge part of who I am and what I do. I believe God gave me my story for a reason. The things I’ve survived, the lessons I’ve learned, and even the seasons where I felt completely lost have all shaped the way I encourage other women today. At the end of the day, I don’t want people to look at me and think I have a perfect life. I want them to look at me and think, “If she can keep going, so can I.” I think that’s what truly sets me apart. I’m not just creating content, I’m building a community and using my experiences to remind women that they can be mothers, have dreams, build something of their own, and still become the woman God created them to be.
