Meet Brian Luangraj, Jerald Redmon and Kirk Anthony of Apex Houston

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian Luangraj, Jerald Redmon, and Kirk Anthony.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Our beginning was a roller coaster ride. We started small by offering small group classes inside a 500 sqft building. As time passed, we face many obstacles and roadblocks when it came to training our clients and maintaining a steady growth as first-time business owners. Our classes were always challenging providing the best, effective training to our community.

Within a year, we began to grow our operations and expanded with the given opportunities from our clients and the growth of our classes. Apex Houston moved from a 500 sqft building to now a 3000 sqft building! We house a very unique niche in the fitness industry. Many athletes in different sports and fitness enthusiasts come to our gym to get their training sessions in a positive, supportive environment. Our atmosphere and a tight-knit community have been good to our clients and members where they feel like Apex is there Second Home.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
We’ve had ups and downs as many other businesses would face. One of the biggest struggles so far was the recovery from Hurricane Harvey. It was a disastrous moment for the city of Houston and ourselves as well. We kept positive during that time by supporting our city and community with donations we collected during our charity event.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Apex Houston – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Apex Houston stands strong. We specialize in private training and group fitness. We are known for our robust atmosphere and athletes who come all over the city to train at our facility. What we are most proud of is the support and family-like feeling we have with our members, clients, and community. What sets us apart from other gyms is the diversity of our training and fitness.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Our future plan is to grow into a bigger building about 10,000-12,000 sqft. We also have plans to franchise the brand and spread our culture among Houston and when possible go into other cities in the country.
