Meet Cecilia Franco of houston

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cecilia Franco.

Hi Cecilia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Thank you for this interview. Im Cecilia Franco, known online as @thisiscecy a Latin creator and photographer passionate about wellness, lifestyle and storytelling through visuals. I started sharing moments of my life after moving to the U.S. about 12 years ago, and what began as a creative outlet quickly turned into a way to express my love for photography and creativity . Over time, I’ve collaborated with brands I truly admire, creating authentic, aesthetic content that inspires women to embrace self-care and find beauty in the everyday. My journey has been all about growth, creativity, and capturing life’s details both in front of and behind the camera.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not a smooth road at all. When I arrived in the U.S. 12 years ago, I started from scratch, working as a waitress while exploring different paths to find where I truly belonged. Eventually, I transitioned into graphic design and later became a TV host in a streaming show doing what I had studied in college back in my home country, Communications. Over time, my creative journey evolved into photography and content creation, which has become my greatest passion. Four months ago, I moved from Florida to Houston, embracing this new chapter as a space to grow, create, and capture a new start.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a photographer and lifestyle content creator, specializing in wellness, fashion, and storytelling through visuals. I’m known for creating authentic, aesthetic content that connects emotionally and inspires women to embrace self-care and creativity. What sets me apart is my attention to detail and focus on authenticity blending professional photography with real-life moments to make every project feel genuine and meaningful.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I’d say resilience is the most important quality to my success. Moving to a new country, starting from scratch, and building a career in a creative industry required persistence, adaptability, and the ability to keep going even when things felt uncertain. That resilience has allowed me to grow, take risks, and embrace every new chapter
