Today we’d like to introduce you to Chef Kifer Goodluck.
Chef Kifer, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Cooking always been a passion of mine since I was a kid. But my mom wouldn’t let me do it because she was afraid of the house burning down. One day she had left and something got into me to say you should make a cake and that was the first thing I ever did was a cake around age 11 & It was from scratch too. After finishing high school and moving to Houston, I decided to go to the culinary arts Institute of Houston that’s where I study for two years got my degree, but while studying for my degree, I would always tell my classmate I would start a catering business. Before I started the business, I intern at shell the oil company headquarters in the cafeteria for 2+ years. While still interning every day after, I would go home and write down more of my business plan and start working towards it day by day. On my day off, I will go out and promote until eventually I finally gave it up my intern and just focus more on my business and now today I’m fully the Founder & CEO of Keif’s Catering. Being a chef brings me so much joy not a day go by I am not in the kitchen working on something. It is my gift my calling my profession my career my destiny my everything. God created me to do exactly what I’m doing. He also put me through a lot of life experience to get to this point.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
No, it hasn’t always been a smooth road but to answer your question, I always been a fighter even when the road got rough and tough. I always keep my head up and knowing that better days are ahead. Like right now for COVID 19, I’m out of work but I know the Lord will make a way & it will get better after this minor sit back.

Keifs Catering it’s a catering company that specializes in every cuisine. From Italian to Tex Mex to Caribbean to baking to meal prepping. We are known for our flavor And presentation. We are most proud of the quality of service we provide. The thing that sets us apart from others Is that they don’t have a Chef Like Chef Keif.
