Today we’d like to introduce you to Francis Panes.
Francis, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
When I was pursing in graphic design major at Houston Community College, I learned how to develop black and white film. Then I was pursing in digital media major at University of Houston, I learned to do digital photography. Most of the time, I do street photography as a hobby. Right now, I do portraits of family, models, birthdays, graduations, and other occasions.
Has it been a smooth road?
There’s always be a rough road, but with failure and struggle made me motivated stronger. You need to be patient in order to be successful. Without patient, you will be in trouble. Also, you need to stand out from the rest of the photographers.
So, let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Francis Panes Photography story. Tell us more about the business.
I am a photographer based in Houston. I specialize in portrait photography, I do mostly outdoor shoots. I do not use lighting equipment, I work with mostly natural lighting. I also do events, birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, and so on. I communicate with clients professionally and deliver their photos on time as promise.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I would see myself traveling around the world shooting new faces and landscapes. I would like to work with big fashion and model industry.
