Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Myles.
Hi Jordan, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Jordan, a native of Elizabeth, New Jersey, discovered her passion for dance as a teenager. She attributes the discovery of her passion to her mother, whose loving yet firm encouragement led her to pursue it as an elective. As a result, she recognized her gift for dance as a divine calling, and since then has devoted her life to using movement as a powerful expression of faith. Deeply impacted by the transformative power of Jesus Christ, Jordan finds purpose in ushering in God’s presence, inspiring others, and sharing the message of Christ through dance.
Committed to excellence, she has trained and mentored dancers to move with both intention and power, cultivating dance ministers who are equipped to impact lives and lead others to Christ. Through her leadership and vision, Jordan continues to raise up spirit-led dancers who use their gifts to bring transformation and hope to the world.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road. I have found that dance is often an art form that is overlooked and underappreciated. I have had seasons where I have felt unseen. It was in those times that I really had to renew my mind, change my perspective, and remind myself why I have continued dancing all these years.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
In 2022, I Founded Full Out Ministries. It exists to reveal the transformative power of Jesus and is the fruit of a journey rooted in a love for dance and ministry. We delight in dancing before the Lord with all our might according to 2 Samuel 6:14. Our mission is to impact lives by ushering in the presence of God through the art of dance. We believe dance creates an entryway for the Holy Spirit to bring deep and lasting transformation, restoring hearts, renewing minds, and healing from sin, grief, trauma, and broken relationships. We don’t perform; we minister, ignite faith, and carry glory. I believe what sets Full Out apart is our biblical foundation, excellent execution, creative choreography, and powerful movement. We also have a wide age range of dancers who lend different perspectives to the art depending on what stage in life they are journeying through.
We have a dance production entitled Into the Deep coming up on October 17, 2026 at MATCH Theater in midtown Houston. Tickets are on sale now! They can be purchased at https://tickets.fulloutministries.org/.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I do not believe in luck at all. It does not play a role. My life, my art, and my ministry have purpose because it was predestined by God. He is very intentional. Nothing is by happenstance.
