Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaiti Moyers.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Kaiti. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started my love for photography in high school taking pictures of cows and little kids. I showed livestock threw 4-hall threw grade school and into high school. Being involved in the livestock industry helped shape the person and I am today. I truly believe I have the drive and work ethic I do because of it.
I always knew I enjoyed photography from the moment my dad bought me a camera for Christmas in junior high. I would walk around at the livestock shows taking pictures of all my friends and their animals. Once I graduated I started working for a livestock photographer photographing all the exhibitors and their animals. I quickly realized my heart wasn’t in it with livestock and I fell head over heels in love with wedding photography.
I then started helping a few wonderful friends of mine photograph weddings where I learned all about the sweetest moments and how to capture them. I got so excited for all the wedding details and to get to capture all the moments that make each wedding day unique. I love being there to capture all the small details that most people tend to overlook and to see the smile on the grooms face as his bride walks down the isle.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Oh goodness no, I have certainly had my ups and downs in my journey with photography, just as most business owners do. I am so grateful for all the struggles I have had that have helped me grown and learn to improve my business. I fully believe I wouldn’t be here today without the most supportive friends and family. They truly are always there to support and encourage my dreams every step of the way!
Please tell us about Kaiti Moyers Photography.
I specialize in natural light wedding and portrait photography. I am known for my natural light images that I believe capture each couple incredibly unique story. I am so proud of the experience I have built for my clients, it really is so much more than just taking your picture. It’s always been my goal that all my clients feel more like the sweetest friends by their wedding day. I love for my clients to get to know me on a more personal level so that they feel 100% comfortable with me both in front of and behind the camera.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Oh gosh, I have so many of those. I absolutely love spending time with my mom, she really is my best friend. I loved cooking with her in the kitchen, she is the best cook. I can remember baking cookies with her late at night and her letting me stay up late to watch movies for girls night.
