Well, my professional background is in the oil and gas industry as an HR Instructional Designer. This career path was very rewarding but after enduring many layoffs in such an up and down, sometimes volatile industry, I began to question my place and longevity in this particular field and industry in general. There was always a slight longing in my heart to start my own business so I would dabble in different business ventures but nothing would stick. I happened to see a video of Tyler Perry speaking at Lakewood church about how he began his career. His message inspired me to take a leap of faith and follow my heart. While exploring various business ventures, I stumbled upon the photo booth industry and have been hooked ever since! The road hasn’t been easy but it has been a surprisingly fulfilling experience beyond my wildest dreams!
Has it been a smooth road?
How much time do we have? LOL! I can go on forever about the struggles but to be brief, I would say there have been many challenges to overcome and my biggest one is patience. Running a business comes with many uncertainties such as financial security or future outlook, etc. It’s tough worrying about how you’ll make it when business is slow. I am learning that it’s important to not panic during these times and make hasty business decisions that may be detrimental in the future. Learning to think before I act has helped me to overcome my impatient and impulsive tendencies and has helped me develop a more strategic mindset when making business decisions on this journey to growing my photo booth empire.

We always “Aim for the WOW!” and we understand the uniqueness of every event. We creatively approach each one with the goal to meet and exceed our client’s expectations. In this industry, personalization and client satisfaction is key and we pride ourselves on finding innovative ways to complement the essence of your special occasion. Your vision is our vision! One of our proudest moments was being fully booked in the first month of our official launch! Although overwhelmed at first, we were grateful for the opportunity to provide quality service and we created memorable experiences that will last forever.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love food and dining. I’ll pay anything for good food and service! I also love our sports scene. I’m a huge sports fan of all our home teams. We have such an elite sport and entertainment scene with some of the best athletes in the world homegrown and otherwise.
My least favorites are the traffic and mosquitoes!
