Today we’d like to introduce you to Keiara Kearns.
Hi Keiara, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My story with The Give Society Social Club is deeply personal. My sister and I both spent time in foster care, so supporting foster youth has always meant more to us than simply giving back it is connected to our own story. The Give Society began with a desire to create meaningful ways to support foster youth and organizations doing that work, like Love Fosters Hope.
I’ve always loved bringing people together, creating experiences, and finding ways to make a positive impact in my community. Designing events and planning every element from the overall concept and guest experience to the smallest details—has always been a genuine passion of mine. That passion has shown up in several different spaces in my life. I serve as Chair of Aramark’s Black Employee Resource Group, LEAD, where I help create programming, professional development opportunities, and community initiatives. I also serve as Communications Chair for the Lamar Black Alumni community, helping keep alumni connected and engaged, and I co-founded a women’s book club in Houston that is currently going through a rebrand as we continue to shape the kind of community we want to create. I’ve also built an online community through TikTok, where I share beauty, lifestyle, and everyday experiences while connecting with women beyond my local community.
Community service has also been a major part of my journey. Through my professional and volunteer work, I’ve had the opportunity to support and partner with organizations such as BakerRipley and Big Brothers Big Sisters Greater Houston, along with other Houston nonprofits and community initiatives. Those experiences reinforced something I already knew about myself: I genuinely enjoy creating spaces where people can connect, feel like they belong, and be part of something bigger than themselves.
That passion eventually grew into The Give Society Social Club, which I co-founded with my sister, Kyennea Robbins. We wanted to create a community where social experiences and philanthropy could exist in the same space, where people could attend a beautiful event, meet new people, have an amazing time, and know that their participation was also helping someone else.
Our first Give Gala was held in 2024, and together we were able to donate $5,000 to Love Fosters Hope. That moment was incredibly meaningful for us because it proved that the idea could become something tangible. We weren’t just creating an event; we were creating a way for our community to directly support foster youth.
Today, The Give Society’s mission remains centered on foster youth, and all proceeds from our events go toward our foster youth programs. As we grow, that impact includes initiatives such as our Give Forward Scholarship, designed to support foster youth pursuing their next chapter, as well as transitional support that helps young people navigate the move toward greater independence and adulthood.
Building The Give Society has taught us what it really takes to create something from the ground up from developing our brand and planning events to building partnerships, reaching out to sponsors, working with volunteers, and creating programs that can have a lasting impact. Through it all, we’ve remained focused on what we want The Give Society to represent: community, connection, meaningful experiences, and giving back with purpose.
One of the most rewarding parts has been watching an idea that started between us become something other people believe in too. Every partnership, volunteer, sponsor, guest, and person who supports our mission reminds me that people genuinely want opportunities to have fun, build community, and do good at the same time.
For me, this journey has been a lesson in starting before you have everything figured out. We didn’t begin with a huge team or every answer—we started with an idea, a purpose, and a commitment to foster youth. We’re still growing, refining our programs, and building a community around that mission.
Our next chapter is already underway with our next Give Gala, the Black & White Soirée, taking place on October 17, 2026. We’re excited to bring our community together again for a beautiful night with an even bigger purpose: raising support for the foster youth programs we’re continuing to build through The Give Society.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been building The Give Society from the ground up while balancing motherhood, work, community leadership, and content creation.
There has also been a major learning curve behind the scenes. We’ve had to learn sponsorship outreach, fundraising, partnerships, marketing, budgeting, volunteer coordination, and how to grow beyond hosting beautiful events into building programs that create lasting impact.
Another challenge has been helping people understand that The Give Society is more than a social club. The events are fun and community-focused, but the purpose is bigger: all proceeds support foster youth through initiatives like our Give Forward Scholarship and transitional support.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a UGC and content creator specializing in beauty, skincare, wellness, and lifestyle. I create polished but relatable content that feels more like a trusted recommendation than an advertisement, with storytelling at the center of everything I make.
I’m most proud of the community I’ve built through TikTok and the opportunities it has created to work with brands, attend events, and grow my creative portfolio. What sets me apart is my background in community building, event planning, and communications, which helps me think beyond just the content itself and focus on how it connects with an audience and supports a brand’s goals.
My goal is to create content that feels authentic, engaging, and memorable while helping brands tell their story in a natural way.
What makes you happy?
What makes me happiest is spending time with my son, creating meaningful experiences, and feeling like I’m living in the purpose God gave me. My son is one of my biggest sources of motivation and joy, and he constantly reminds me to appreciate the little moments while continuing to build the life I want for us.
I’m also happiest when I’m creating whether that’s planning an event, producing content, building a community, or watching an idea come to life. I love bringing people together and creating spaces where people can connect, have fun, and feel like they belong.
Giving back is another big part of that. I truly feel happiest when I’m able to use the creativity, gifts, relationships, and experiences God placed in me to serve others, especially foster youth, and ultimately glorify Him through the work I do.
