Meet Kenneth Ross of Houston

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kenneth Ross.

Hi Kenneth , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve been a dedicated gym rat for many years. My journey began in 2013 after the passing of my mother. This business was born from a deeply personal place in my heart.

Both of my parents passed away at an early age, and this tremendous loss motivated me to make a change in my life. Losing both of parents at a young age taught me a very powerful lesson: health is the foundation of a fulfilled life.

I hired a personal trainer to begin my path toward health and fitness. Those three years of training transformed my mind, body, and soul—and truly enriched my life.
I’ll admit—it wasn’t easy to hold myself accountable, and it was even harder to accept constructive criticism from a trainer. But with guidance and persistence, my mindset shifted, and I fully committed to the work.

I truly believe that in order to see and feel change, you must first change your mindset and Be The Change.

After experiencing firsthand the positive impact of personal training, I realized what a powerful investment it was in my life. That experience inspired me to enroll in personal training school so that I, too, could make a difference in the lives of others.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it was difficult at first. I had to change my mindset about health and fitness and how that would look with no money to start up the business. I struggled trying to figure out how I would pay the cost of starting up a business centered around health and fitness.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Aside from having a personal training business, I have a career in the multi-family industry. I am a property manager with Asset Living Management. I have been employed with Asset Living for over 10 years. I am known for my compassion and empathy towards others. I would say my specialty is people. I love people. My purpose in life is service. Servicing others makes me the most proud.

What matters most to you?
There’s so many things that matters to me, but what matters most to me is living a happy life. A happy, healthy, full life. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention my spouse as someone that matters the most to me. My spouse is a huge part of my happiness.
