Today we’d like to introduce you to Laura Poshard.
Laura, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have always had a passion for small business, an entrepreneurial flair and a love for helping others! I started the boutique with a simple idea of sharing what I love…fashion and accessories. Women should feel beautiful in their daily lives and my goal is to bring fun clothing and accessories to make them feel more confident! I believe that everyone has their own story and style!
As we entered our 5th year in business we changed our name from My Feathered Arrow to Addy & Ry Boutique and we are extremely proud of the steady growth we have had. It couldn’t have been accomplished without the love and support of my wonderful family and friends. My daughter, Addison is my right hand and helps me run the day to day operations, my mom has become our in-house seamstress and my husband and son help us during our market season.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
We have definitely had some challenges along the way, but with each one we learned to quickly pivot and got better at navigating the industry. We learned different vendors that we love to work with have high-quality products and learned to not always trust a stock photo! Managing product inventory has been a challenging road due to pre-determined size packs with clothing.

Addy & Ry Boutique is truly a family-owned business. We pride ourselves on exceptional service and affordable prices. We are a large merchant for Makeup Junkie Bags which have helped us grow our customer reach.

We would not be where we are today without the love and support from my family, friends and all the new friends and contacts we have met along the way! My mom has been amazing and helps to bring my visions to life.
