Today we’d like to introduce you to LeVonna Washington.
Hi LeVonna, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey really started with simply sharing my everyday life online. I was working a full-time corporate job, raising my family, and navigating all of the things that come with being a wife, mom, and career woman. Content creation became a creative outlet for me and a place where I could share the routines, beauty, lifestyle, and everyday moments that made life feel a little easier and more enjoyable.
As I continued sharing, I realized that other women saw themselves in my content. They were also balancing careers, motherhood, relationships, personal goals, and trying to make time for themselves in the middle of it all. What started as something I enjoyed doing gradually grew into a community and, eventually, a business.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to grow my platforms, work with some incredible brands, and turn content creation into a meaningful second career all while continuing my career in corporate event planning.
Today, my content is centered around lifestyle, career, motherhood, wellness, and making everyday life feel a little softer and more intentional. I’m passionate about showing women that success doesn’t have to look just one way. I’ve found a lot of fulfillment in building a life where my corporate career, creativity, family, and personal goals can all coexist, and I love being able to bring my community along for that journey.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t always been a smooth road. One of my biggest challenges has been learning how to balance all the different parts of my life. I’m a wife, a mom of two, I work a full-time corporate career, and I’ve also built a growing business as a content creator. There have been plenty of seasons where I’ve questioned whether I could realistically do all of those things well at the same time.
Self-doubt has also been a big part of my journey. When I first started creating content, I was naturally more reserved and would sometimes overthink putting myself out there or wonder whether there was really space for someone like me. I had to learn to stop waiting until I felt completely confident and start showing up anyway.
There have also been the normal challenges that come with building something of your own—content that doesn’t perform the way you hoped, hearing “no,” navigating brand partnerships, and figuring things out as you go. But those experiences have taught me to be adaptable and, most importantly, consistent.
I’ve learned that success doesn’t always require having everything perfectly figured out. Sometimes it’s continuing to show up, trusting yourself, and allowing yourself to grow along the way. Looking back, many of the challenges that once made me question myself are the same experiences that helped shape the woman and creator I am today.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My work lives at the intersection of lifestyle, career, motherhood, and wellness. As a lifestyle content creator and corporate event professional, I share what it looks like to build a fulfilling life while balancing a career, family, personal goals, and entrepreneurship.
I’m especially known for my realistic lifestyle content, from early morning and workday routines to beauty, self-care, motherhood, and the behind-the-scenes of balancing a 9-to-5 with being a creator. My goal has always been to create content that is aspirational but still attainable. I want women to leave my page feeling inspired, but also feeling like, “I can actually do this too.”
What I’m most proud of is the community I’ve built. Seeing women implement something I’ve shared, feel motivated to prioritize themselves, start creating content, or simply feel seen through my experiences means more to me than any number on a screen. I’m also incredibly proud that I’ve been able to turn something that started as a creative outlet into a successful business while continuing to grow in my corporate career.
I think what sets me apart is that I don’t believe women have to choose between ambition and enjoying their lives. I’m not sharing life from the perspective of having unlimited time or a perfectly curated schedule. I’m figuring out how to make it work within the same 24 hours as everyone else. I want my platform to be a reminder that you can pursue big goals, build a career, show up for the people you love, and still create a life that feels good to you.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was definitely on the shy and reserved side. I wasn’t always the person who wanted to be the center of attention, and it usually took me a little while to come out of my shell. At the same time, I’ve always been very creative, observant, and someone who loved putting things together and making them feel special.
I’ve also always been a planner. I liked having an idea of what I wanted to do and figuring out how to make it happen, which is funny looking back because so much of my life now revolves around planning—whether that’s through my career in events, creating content, or even how I manage my everyday life.
As I’ve gotten older, I think I’ve become a much more confident version of that same girl. I’m still naturally a little reserved, but content creation and my career have pushed me outside of my comfort zone in ways I never expected. It’s been really rewarding to see that some of the qualities I had growing up being creative, thoughtful, organized, and a bit of a dreamer ended up becoming such a big part of who I am today.
