Hi Lisa, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My story didn’t begin with a festival. It began with entrepreneurship, service, and creating spaces where people felt seen.
I built my career in Houston’s beauty industry as a hair-weaving specialist and salon owner. Over time, the spiritual work that had always been part of my life became the center of what I felt called to do.
I began studying consciousness, energy, sound, and frequency more deeply. I became a registered spiritual counselor, Reiki Master, quantum healer, and frequency practitioner. I also became a recording artist under the name I Am God Frequency, creating what I call Quantum Soul music—music rooted in hip-hop and R&B that carries messages of healing, remembrance, and personal transformation.
Through my sessions, music, teachings, and community work, I kept meeting people who were ready for deeper conversations. They didn’t want science over here, spirituality over there, and creativity somewhere else. They wanted a space where all of it could meet.
That is how Quantum Soul Festival was born.
I created the festival to bring scientists, doctors, spiritual practitioners, authors, artists, musicians, entrepreneurs, educators, and independent thinkers into the same space. It isn’t about everyone believing the same thing. It’s about honest dialogue, discovery, healing, connection, and exploring what becomes possible when we stop separating the different parts of ourselves.
Today, Quantum Soul Festival is the physical expression of everything I have built and learned through entrepreneurship, spiritual service, community, and sound. The road has required faith, resilience, and the courage to keep building before every answer was clear. But every chapter of my journey prepared me for this one.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it has not been a smooth road. The biggest challenge hasn’t been believing in the vision. It has been building a structure strong enough to hold it.
Quantum Soul Festival is an independent, first-year festival, so everything has had to be built from the ground up. That includes funding, sponsorships, securing the right people, marketing, production, and earning the community’s trust before they have experienced the festival for themselves.
Because the festival brings together spirituality, science, music, technology, healing, and ancient wisdom, it doesn’t fit neatly into one category. I have had to work harder to help people understand what it is, who it is for, and why these conversations belong in the same space.
I have also had to learn that I cannot carry every part of the vision alone. Turning a spiritual and creative vision into budgets, systems, deadlines, and clearly defined roles has stretched me as a leader. On a personal level, I have had to learn how to serve people without draining myself and how to protect my own energy while continuing to show up for the community.
Those challenges have made me more disciplined and more intentional about who I build with. Quantum Soul Festival isn’t happening because the road was easy. It is happening because I kept adjusting without abandoning the vision.

I specialize in helping people recognize the thought patterns, beliefs, emotional cycles, and energetic habits influencing their lives. Through spiritual counseling, frequency work, thought entrainment, sound, and honest reflection, I help people become more conscious of what they are carrying and what they are ready to change.
As the recording artist I Am God Frequency, I create Quantum Soul music. It is rooted in hip-hop and R&B, but it carries messages of healing, remembrance, and personal transformation. I wanted to create healing music that people would actually listen to in their everyday lives, not something that felt separate from modern culture.
I am most proud of creating work that does not force people to choose between spiritual depth and real life. Quantum Soul Festival is an extension of that. It brings scientists, spiritual practitioners, authors, artists, healers, entrepreneurs, and independent thinkers into one shared experience.
What sets me apart is that I do not only talk about transformation. I turn it into music, teachings, sessions, community, and live experiences that people can hear, feel, question, and apply. I also do not ask people to hand their authority over to me. My work encourages people to think, use discernment, and reconnect with their own inner knowing.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I believe luck has played a role in my journey, but I rarely experience it as something completely random. What others may call luck, I often see as timing, alignment, and preparation meeting opportunity.
Good luck has appeared through unexpected connections, conversations that happened at exactly the right time, and people recognizing something in my vision before I had all the resources to build it. But I still had to be prepared enough to recognize those openings and courageous enough to walk through them.
What might be considered bad luck has shaped me too. Closed doors, delays, disappointments, and plans falling apart have forced me to become more resourceful and discerning. I have learned that a closed door is not always a loss. Sometimes it keeps you from building with the wrong people or on the wrong foundation.
I also don’t spiritualize every setback. Sometimes a setback showed me where I needed a stronger plan, better communication, or more structure.
In business, luck may create an introduction or open a door, but it cannot build the vision for you. You still have to do the work, follow through, and keep going after the excitement passes. I honor synchronicity, but I believe preparation, faith, and persistence are what turn a fortunate moment into something lasting.
