Meet Micah Autry of Aume Motion Arts in South Houston/Arlington

Today we’d like to introduce you to Micah Autry.

Micah Autry, a native of Houston, Texas graduated from the University of North Texas in 2015 where he majored in Radio, Television, and Film and minored in computer education. Micah began his entrepreneurship journey while in high school doing freelance video production work. Micah currently owns, AUME Motion Arts LLC, a full-service multimedia production firm that allows him to continually pursue his passions for filmmaking and entrepreneurship.

Through AMA, Micah has produced numerous corporate projects for the likes of SMU, Just Fab, WEBUYHOUSES.COM, Chick-Fil-A, Tiff’s Treats, and many more. Over the past year Micah has also began to share his experiences on how to bridge the gap with business professionals of different generations through numerous public speaking engagements.

Has it been a smooth road?
As a young Black business owner the road has not always been smooth and linear; however, every trial is a lesson to learn and grow from. I am a better business professional today because of yesterday and I look forward to continued growth and maturation.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Aume Motion Arts, LLC story. Tell us more about the business.
Aume Motion Arts, LLC is a group of young multimedia professionals based out of Tarrant County. We pride ourselves on creating edgy and creative motion art projects that aid our clients in reaching their goals and objectives.

We love to work with small businesses and large corporations alike. Our clients include Chick-fil-a, Tiff Treats, JustFab, The City of Dallas, Webuyhoueses.com, SMU, and many more.

We believe we are talented and have great creative eyes; however, what makes us stand out has nothing to do with creative video production. It’s the little things! We will always answer your call or email, we will show up to every gig on time and prepared, and we will always put your piece of mind over our bottom line.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
The barrier of entry has been lower and lower over recent years which has lead to a saturation of service providers.

I believe those who will stand out will do so not because of their industry skills but because of their business acumen overall.
